Are we fooled to believe that there's a system?
All computerized drawings can never be truely random since they are governed by algorithms. The person(s) who write the algorithms will know how to beat it. A professor level mathematician can probably predict it given enough sample size and a super computer to analyze the drawings. I would love to see high speed videos of drawings to see how the balls really move around.

Are we fooled to believe that there's a system?
I do not think that there is a system with true lottery drawings (i.e. machine and ping-pong ball), but there are definitely interesting patterns that emerge (e.g. some numbers showing up more frequently than other numbers). As for computerized drawings, I feel that there has to be a system. I just do not know what it is. I do not think that computer drawings are random, although they certainly seem to be.

Computerized lottery drawings not problem-free
Strutt said: No known cases of cheating have occurred with computerized drawings, . How can he say this he doesn't know, and just because nobody's been caught yet doesn't mean cheating isn't taking place. Indiana for example has the lowest payouts of any RNG state, lottery players there think the lottery is corrupted. How do the people know if a computer generated drawing isn't rigged in some way to de-select numbers that have been heavily played in favor of profits for the lottery by sele

Tenn. Lottery CEO blames lagging sales on Powerball
I, for one, have quit playing Tennessee's lottory since they went to the RNG method. I have no confidence in any official of this state doing right, be they Republicans or Democrats. In my book, computerized drawings were introduced to make mainpulation easier and more difficult to uncover. I will keep my money in my wallet until they bring back ball drawings. If that means I never get to lay $1 down on the Pick 5 again, then so be it. I am finding that I don't have a problem not having a ticket

Tennessee Lottery computerized drawings under suspicion again
I know the claims of the computerized drawing supporters, and I've heard them repeated many times. If the Pentagon can be hacked, so can a government lottery machine. The fact that it is not connected to a LAN or WAN is really not the issue. There are many ways to skin a cat. (sorry Em.) There is nothing wrong with me or someone else saying that pre-test drawings throw off the stats. Perhaps they do, and it does not diminish the argument at all. In fact, it bolsters it. If the numbers are

Tennessee Lottery computerized drawings under suspicion again
I don't think you realize how condescending that sounds. Not to mention that you are completely misstating the complaints of those who oppose computerized drawings. (And those people make up the vast majority, as shown in the numerous polls we've done on the subject.) Computerized drawings have errors, and they have had errors in just about every state in which they've been used. Why? Because computers have to be programmed by people, and people make mistakes. A certain segment of people a

TN House Committee Passes Bill Banning Comupterized Drawings
Hot off the press...just heard on the 5 o'clock news channel 2 that the house committee passed the bill banning computerized drawings. So, does anyone know...does this mean it is finally set in stone and TN is going back to balls? Kim

Tenn. lawmakers want to force lottery to drop computer draws
I totally agree! People who want to watch Deal or No Deal know where to find it! The same would be for the lottery drawings. I do not like Bredesen's response to the legislature's intervention in the computerized drawings, from the first coverage of Bredesen introducing Hargrove and defending her outrageous salary!! The 5 million dollar figure is bogus propaganda to try and keep it her way. The software is crap! That was proven from the beginning when it was so quickly compromised! I suspect Har

Tenn. lawmakers trying to force lottery to switch back to real draws
Bills filed in legislature; supported by Senate and House leadership The Tennessee state legislature may force the state lottery to return to using numbered balls to select winners for the Cash 3 and Cash 4 games. Legislative leaders have expressed concern about the lottery's switch to computerized drawings, especially after a computer glitch last year. Sen. Bill Ketron, R-Murfreesboro, and Rep. Jason Mumpower, R-Bristol, the House's minority leader, have filed bills to require the lott
