Are you for or against PowerBall's "side pool"?
When PowerBall's jackpot gets to a record level, it only increases by $25M, and the rest goes into a side pool for 5+0 winners. I don't really care either way, but I am interested in others' opinion of it.

After alleged lottery ticket theft, store banned from ticket sales
My co-workers weren't in the 55% bracket but in the 25%-32% bracket and they weren't willing to be out $50-$75 for co-workers who were making good money. They just preferred if they were going to be out any money it helped a college student of one of the pool members and everybody was happy with that idea. I'm sure had the pool been willing to set aside 35% of the prize money to paid the extra taxes someone in the pool would have cashed in the ticket.

After alleged lottery ticket theft, store banned from ticket sales
Before I retired I belonged to a lottery pool at work that matched 5of6 for $1500 in three SuperLotto games. Since Ohio only allowed one person to claim the winnings, no one in the pool wanted to cash the tickets, split up the $1500 among the pool members and get stuck with the taxes at year end so we alway allowed a member with a student in college to have his son or daughter cash in the ticket, pay the pool $1000 for the ticket, pay the taxes if any and keep the differences.

power ball pool
Has anyone considered forming a powerball pool with post members? It seems most of the time that groups win. I would love to see some input about how it could be done or if it would even be worth while.

like a pool group is not illegal i think and what difference does it make is a open a website? I am doing the same thing as if i wasn't opening a website...I don't get it..Well i wouldn't open a website to start a pool group anyways...But when you get a pool group from a different states that takes away the fun of it and when you have pool group all across the country playing the lotto, it sort of takes away the fun of it too...But if John wants to to go to Panama/Nicaragua and open up a big/sma

Ohio Rolling Cash 5 Number Strategy
During the history of the Rolling Cash5, all 5 winning numbers have hit in as little as the the previous 3 drawings to as much the previous 54 drawings, but 50% have hit in the previous 15 drawings or less. Using only the the previous 15 drawings for the number pool have reduce number pool containing the winning number to as small as 29 some times. Tonight, using that rule reduces the pool to 33 numbers which would reduce the possible combination to 237,336 from 575,757, if that is true tonig
