State cuts lottery winner's benefits
M, I work in a grocery store, I see the people who are in true need, and I see the fraudsters, this week is welfare week in Michigan, and I will watch them buy everything from chips chips to ice cream then use cash to buy , beer, cigarettes and piles of lottery tickets, it's wrong, it's theft, it's not okay to take someone elses money through entitlements so you can have the stuff you want, while someone else buys the stuff you need through taxation.
It used to be we would get someone on welf

Does numbers have certain meaning?
Yea, I've got that lady's number...I've seen her before in there. Now I know what she really is...Attempted petty theft. Sad.
I pressed the one shot button to get 5 x $2 tickets and then got side-tracked while they were coming out..the clerk was talking about the guy
who won $1k and $2k.
I turned around and she's picking up my tickets. Like...what did she think? The machine malfunctioned? Sheesh.

NY Scratch-off Discussion
if you ask me, what they do is nothing more than legalized theft. its bad enough they take 35% and make the game an instant loser for anyone that doesnt win a jackpot. but if you DO win a jackpot and are super lucky, they rip you off for 60% overnight.
it wouldnt be so bad if they just taxed you 25-35%, but what kills you is that they put in the controversial advertising jackpots as annuity, which ironically, breaks most state law because when you choose cash the lottery doesnt distribute the

Computer Draws ? Outliers or just broken software?
Good point.
But in almost anything where large amounts of money are involved there's an industry standard of accepted practices and minimums of scrutiny and accountability. The stock market, for example, has legions of of people dedicated to the sole task of watching for anomalies hinting of insider trading. Banks are scrutinized by examiners, auditors and computer software devised to identify misbehavior, fraud, theft, anything out of order or outside industry standards and accepted practice

Do you guys have any lottery beside playing the lottery??
Maybe you could find something that doesn't cost much to participate in.
I dabble in numerology, read a lot, workout, follow baseball and some of those lesser sports! (anything but baseball!)
I also like to come up with ideas for businesses and try to find a venture capitalist that might be interested, but so far no luck with these:
The Seattle Lawn Sprinkler Company Prescription Windshields for drivers who don't want to wear glasses or contacts. This would also reduce auto theft. They

Amid family tragedies, man wins $1M lottery jackpot
Maybe we could allow Mr. Koenigsfeld to more enjoy this win if we didn't allow politicians and bureaucrats to deal him such an outrageous tax drubbing.
So far, he's been subjected to just the withholding of 30% of his gross win. He needs to be aware of and plan for Federal Income Tax rates of up to 35% and probably 6% or so for Iowa on his adjusted gross income for the year. That's on top of the 30 to 40% or more of the ticket price that already goes to the State before anyone wins anything.

Lottery heartbreak: Florida man says he lost $500,000 ticket
I saw this on the news also. If the news stories are correct in their facts, eventually he will get the money. He does have the confirmation ticket which the lottery terminal printed out when the ticket was scanned. He also has a witness (the store clerk) who scanned the ticket. I'm sure the clerk noticed it was a big winner. The question is how long it will take the lottery to conduct the investigation.
If someone else submits the ticket for payment, the lottery will not pay out immediate

Lottery clubs
Your question is actually a little dangerous, from a risk perspective, which is why RJOh recommended forming a club with friends. (A good suggestion.)
Around here on the Internet has no meaning, because the Internet is everywhere. Do you really want advice on joining some lottery club with people, all of whom you have never met?
The majority of lottery clubs on the Internet would risk your money. Many would be outright theft. Others are pyramid schemes.
Looking for a lottery club on th

Read This Tennessee Players Not Winners
Sorry to hear about your theft.
Like someone said, gambling is a game of chance.
I never like pick 3 because of the return.
Tn is not a good place for lottery players because it is all computerized.
I feel that if anyone wants to get your money they should take time to do a ball drawing.
It is no surprise that the dreaded TN lotto plus got won during their promotion with powerball.
