the average lottery player
RJOH: I wasn't being nor am I delusional; I was merely being sarcastic. Everybody knows that the overwhelming majority of all the millions of lottery tickets purchased are losers. But all that matters are those few who do match and win. Since I can afford to wager a dollar or more every week on the lottery, that is what I choose to do. I also have a good amount of my money working for me in various mutual funds that have returned over 12 percent the past three years, and I had done equally

Do You Give Advice About The Lottery?
RJOh writes: I've had people PM me to let me know they lost money playing numbers I've posted as if I should share part of the responsible for them losing their money and they played those numbers on their own. They would have really been upset had I advised them to play those numbers. Ya gotta be kidding! People really do that?

You buy a 2line ticket to pool with 1 person but they don't pay the $1
Deleted my last post based on the California ruling that RJOH posted a link to. Didn't know just how the courts might rule on that. Excellent precedent set in that case. KY Floyd's comments are outstanding and I believe anyone in charge of a lottery pool should read them thoroughly along with having a stipulation in writing that if you don't pay to be in a particular draw then you don't participate in benefits it may yield. Stop a problem before it begins and ends up in court.

After alleged lottery ticket theft, store banned from ticket sales
Then they can't post signs stating they don't keep a lot of cash to discourage potential robbers. LOL RJOh

True personal story (getting ripped off)
Who paid the taxes on that ticket? In Ohio, to cash a winning ticket over $599, you have to show proper I.D. and fill out and sign a form with your SS# and address so you can be mailed a W-2G to file with you taxes. Putting false information on that form is a punishable crime. If the store owner had to pay the Federal and State taxes on that $1000 ticket and you didn't, who scam who? RJOh

This could be lucky number for someone 343
RJOh If I am the only one playing 343, that's fine too. It's possible that number will come out anytime, not just tonight!

How high will MM go this run?
For US games largest pot in cash was Powerball on 2/18 at 178. Both of the large pots in MM were won in OH last year, maybe our own RJOH can get lucky this time. Next rolls would be 177, 215, 265, 315, 400. Mega has only rolled past the 300 million mark once in 2005. While I'd like to be proven wrong I think someone will hit this jackpot very soon. Well before it hits the 265 mark.
