At least the small towns win in Texas. Here in NY a lot of people from Upstate think the lottery is fixed because most of the winners are in NY City. There's actually millions more of us in Upstate yet you'd never know it by the results.Maybe they just play it far more down there but I do remember several years ago there was some big complaints over it and suprise, suprise there were suddenly more jackpots hit outside the City. Someone may have even filed a lawsuit over the few winners up here I

i was wondering what the ratio was as far as when powerball jackpots are won what the percentage won on quick picks and what percentage won picking their own numbers,better yet does anyone know the last time a powerball jackpot was hit with someone using their own numbers?

i like OH's rolling cash 5. i have only had one drawing in which i have not won at least $1. PA's cash 5 used to be good. now the jackpots roll at a slower pace.

Winning the Powerball is truely a working man's Thanksgiving. I think the ability to play any lottery is just a nice way to take a chance and come out extremely wealthy when jackpots are as high as the Powerball currently is. Hopefully, the person will be sensible with the winnings and not end up like so many who have allowed the winnings to go to their heads . As for myself, its only a chance with the possiblity of someone having to win the jackpot, so why not me! So good luck players!

I'd keep things the way they are. Not only does making the jackpots higher make it harder to win the jackpot, but it makes it harder to win overall, so they should not change the matrix.

remember. the powerball jackpot is coming up on $100 million. don't say that jackpots don't get big around the holidays. plus, the mega millions jackpot has 9 rolls to go. that can produce a pretty nice jackpot in time for xmas, and add another roll or two to that and you can have a nice new year's jackpot.
