Have you ever happened to run into an old friend, someone you had just recently been thinking about? And when you meet that friend, seemingly by chance, the first thing they say is that they were just thinking about you. Do we all possess a 6th sense? ...even though we don't yet know how to identify it or use it.I wouldn't rule anything out ...the biggest jackpots are yet to come!

I dont think so. Unless another big state joins or if there is a sales slump due to low jackpots, I think they will keep the game the way it is for awhile.

I sat here and watch the MegaMillions Powerball games rollover 15 or 16 times into multi million dollar jackpots ($200million - $300million) in size to be won by a quickpick.While all this is going on, the dreamers, the number crunchers, the gifted, the lotto program players, the favorite number players, and who knows who else are playing their systems end up with maybe a $2 or $3 win. I think the $2 cost is more of a barrier than the lottery might have thought. Another interesting thing is that with a $2 ticket, the lottery has priced themselves out of season ticket sales, so they won't get that revenue that might increase jackpots faster.

i don't mean to be a part of an online lynching (sorry. it was the only word i could come up with to describe it), but yes. how can you say yes to tri-state megabucks over hot lotto? TSM gets hit just about every week. it takes months, even years for hot lotto to be hit, and the jackpots get bigger.

JAG331:You are quick to determine the rolls if the number of powerball states were doubled, but you are not taking into account that that will very likely not be the case because the jackpot is driven by sales, as well as the fact that th jackpot may reach a new record, but then the jackpots will be capped (not a good idea).
