i have a feeling that MA might do what MI did when it introduced WinFall. If nobody wins the final Mass Millions jackpot, then I have a feeling they may make the first few jackpots $2 milion and roll them down if nobody wins it all.

Lotto South
Please give me all the information that you have on Lotto South. I know it's a multi State Lotto with a matrix of 1 - 49. What State started it? How many States are on Lotto South and what are they? Does anyone else think it's funny that the Lotto South Jackpots never get any bigger than they do with so many States on this one lotto game?

I only play MM just because we dont have powerball here in MA. The jackpots are both great but most I have won so far is $7.

Mega Millions is the one I like better. What difference does it make if the odds are 1 in 100 mill or 1 in 135 mill ? MM has bigger jackpots hence more excitement

I agree Todd, even the lowest jackpots are so big compared to what you have now (unless you are a secret millionaire). I think $5 million would be about as life altering to me as $105 million.

California lottery struggles with tepid salesReply
I can't imagine a state like California being so short sighted in their thinking. First they need to amend that law to pay back more to the players, second they need to join the Mega Millions multistate game. Those two moves alone would fire up interest big time, not to mention boost jackpots.

I don't think we have seen so many large Jackpots for Mega Millions before Texas had joined in on the game. By saying that, I think this is one of the main reasons for the rappid growth of the Jackpot prizes. It will only continue to grow and set new records, since more people are now playing it and that Texas is a large State. I am sure we will see another huge Jackpot before the summer is up, or one for Christmas again.

This is way you take more than a week off before you claim your prize.Anyone who plays these big jackpots should do research on what to do and not do before and after you win the lottery...she probabley just listen to her family members and not consulted any professionals.
