Hot Lotto v Lotto South
i think hot lotto has more support, even though lotto south has bigger jackpots that go up in higher increments. remember that lotto south was just a replacement for each of the states' in-state lotto games. i think dventually, the states will realize that they are better off having their own in-state lotto games. unless lotto south expands, it will be doomed.

Transporting lotto tickets across state
There were some stories a few years back about people going to lottery States when the jackpots were large, buying tickets and bringing them back to a none lottery state and trying to sell them for a profit, but now that every State or its neighbor have a lottery, I haven't read any similar stories lately.RJOh

Hey Todd
Thanks for noticing Lucky! Soon that will be everywhere. Since we're becoming so feature-rich I needed an additional way to navigate to everything. I tested it on the Predictions page for users, and on the Jackpots page for games.(I also posted some stuff in my Blog about this.)

Lottery Winners Remaining Anonymous.
The idea that lotteries want to prove that people are winning jackpots by holding press conferences is a bunch of bunk in my opinion. Most states have a freedom of information law of some sort. Just make the winner's name and city public domain. The media or whoever can request to have the winner's name released and it can be checked out to see if this person really exists. The winner doesn't have to be marched out in front of a bunch of cameras and media types if he or she doesn't want to.

Mass. Cleaning Woman Claims $294M Jackpot
I seem to recall another Masschusetts jackpot, maybe Mass Millions around 1997, where another cleaning woman won one of the biggest jackpots to date. It must be a lucky profession.

PowerBall picks...07/07/2004
The Powerball jackpot was won again at only $21 million, or $11 million cash (by a Minnesota ticket)! I don't believe it! With the way the Powerball jackpots keep getting snatched, we won't see another $200+ million jackpot for months! I guess it's back to Mega Millions for me again so soon.

One ticket wins $290 million Mega Millions lottery jackpot
What other monies? The advertized jackpot amount is based on the minimum expected contribution from each participating state to the jackpot pool based on their sales. There is no other monies . The portions from each state to the jackpot pool from each of the earlier advertized jackpots helped make up the $290 million. The rest of the prize payout levels are the responsibility of each state's lottery individually. So, therefore, there is no other monies to be had.

One ticket wins $290 million Mega Millions lottery jackpot
It seems like all the winning Mega Million tickets and even the Power Ball tickets are sold on the east coast. I was standing in line in IL to buy a ticket a guy told me not to bother, he said they have it rigged that the Power Ball and Mega Millions jackpots will have the Big Jackpot winning tickets sold in the eastern states. It sure seems that way in the last couple years. But I'm still playing both. If I don't play I can't have a chance to win.

Players use computer for chance at record Mega Millions jackpot
Some people use birthdays or anniversaries to pick lottery numbers, but truck driver Tim Lombardy plays a number he saw on a State Highway Patrol car 10 years ago.He hopes that someday it will make him rich, like Friday night, when numbers are drawn in the record $290 million Mega Millions jackpot. Most players taking a shot at lottery jackpots truly trust Lady Luck. According to Ohio Lottery Commission data, the majority let the computer pick their numbers for jackpots.Computers and humans are
