I totally agree that it's people who make things a headache. If I were to win something like Powerball, the majority would go into laddered treasury bills, with some in an S P 500 index fund. The last thing I would do is start my own business or invest in any sort of risky business venture. People go broke because they think this sudden windfall of money has given them some sort of insight on how to invest, start or run a business. 4 lucky players matched the first 5 numbers for a $1,000,000 prize: 1 from California, 1 from New Jersey, 1 from New York, and 1 from Ohio That is a sign that more tickets are being purchased, we are getting closer to a purchase frenzy when and if it hits the 500M mark. I am not. I hit in my 10 day window with California and made a profit. But I might consider just playing Mississippi Midday in the short term, or Florida Combined. I would abandon Ohio, and Maryland. We are looking only for combos containing 04, 06, 07, 47, 67. Florida is MIA 20 draws and MS midday is MIA 17 draws. Wisconsin Combined is also MIA 17 draws. I need to automate this process.
