Many States have 2 drawings.. if you multiply the # of Lottery States by 1.5 or whatever the avg. # of drawing is, pick any Pick-4 # and it's a good chance to come out somewhere boxed, but at least you're only giving ONE number and not 45 numbers. Am still curious how it applies to all states.. what about states with computerized drawings? That being said, I might include it in the mix. What is good for Pick-4 BOX specifically in nj? And if I get any hot repeats I'll take a Rolaids.

TENN Lottery Drawings Read this:
Indeed, there are all types! There are certainly people who believe they can beat a computerized drawing, and hence want to keep them. It's a small percentage of people, but it does exist.
Personally, I think it has more to do with a lack of knowledge about computers than anything else. It is also an ignoring and/or disregard of the increased possibility of corruption and errors.
How many times in the past few of years have you heard of computerized drawings in which the drawings were

It doesn't get much better than this a top official is on the case i believe Ron is the Lieutenant Governor of Tennessee.
I'll also look and see if there is a email address we can send to. Lets get the real live mechanical ball drawings back in action and do away with computerized drawings.

Tenn. Lottery: Curse of the computerized drawings?
Again, blames a vendor
Ever since the Tennessee Lottery switched to computerized drawings, they have suffered one mishap after another.
Some Powerball players will get refunds because of a misprint on Lotto 5, Cash 3 and Cash 4 tickets that showed last Wednesday's Powerball jackpot at $29 million instead of $15 million.
James Hawkins of Gallatin reported the misprint after stocking up on Powerball tickets Thursday and Friday, then spotting a billboard that didn't jibe with the jackpot

OMG It's horrible.
And so it begins ...
The next step in the process is to eliminate televised drawings. This should take place within the next six months; they'll say no one is watching anymore, and that it's more cost-effective to air a pre-recorded videotape of the animated graphics program pretending to draw balls.
Next, since Tennessee already has mandated liability limits in place (Indiana is the ONLY lottery state WITHOUT mandated liability limits), look for your legislature to lower the maxi

Tennessee 7/1 thru 7/31
Computerized drawings, unlike real drawings that use numbered balls selected from a tumbling drum, do not take place in the real world. They are a computer program, which cannot be seen, heard, or televised.
For this reason, lottery players have shunned the technique as untrustworthy and prone to unseen errors.
Such was the case with California's Daily Derby game, which uses a computerized drawing system. For many months in 2005 certain combinations of numbers that were bought by playe

Random Generation of Quickpicks
Todd, my question to you is? Instead of signing a petition to eliminate computerized drawings, why not go on the legality of the game being rigged? What I mean is this: if any game of any type is seeded then it's rigged! Below is a quote from that past posting in that thread above.
This is actually a pretty technical subject. Basically speaking, in the world of computers, there is no way possible to create a truly random number. Computers are built to be precise machines, and randomness is

Buying Quick Picks
The odds of matching a number using pure Quick Picks are the same whether 2 in a row or in 2 different stores.. because you are having the Store's RNG pick mathematical digits vs. a physical machine (usually anyway).. you should only use QP if you want to play Computerized drawings (that also use RNG) but most of you sound like you avoid such drawings (and I can understand that).. basically if you use RNG you are computerizing your picks! The reason that a lot of jackpots are won via QP are be
