Actually, I have considered switching to scratch tix. A couple things that keep me from changing are I think Texas scratch tix are rather weak considering the top prizes for the odds and cost of the games compared to other states like Florida. Also, Texas is a BIG state. If a particular game only has say 4 top prizes, there's a lot of territory those 4 top prizes can be hiding. Even a game with 10 top prizes (which is unusual) has a lot of places to hide.

Did some research and the crapless crap table layout started over a year ago and many casinos have one along with the traditional crap table layout. The traditional craps house edge 1.41% and 2.936% on crapless. Odds bets lower both to around 1%. The Field bets house edge is 5.56% for both.
