Who Do You NOT Want To See Win a Top Lottery Jackpot Prize?
Yea don't agree with the younger than 35 bit. Stupid comes at any age. I've met some 17 year olds more mature than some 40 year olds. Generalizations like that don't do anyone good.
Besides i'm probably among the youngest here and would definitely do more with it than most. Create numerous jobs and companies in the STEM sectors to improve our country's standing when it comes to innovation in technology, science and medicine (this would take a few decades). Start up a scholarship fund/fou

Should Camelot Pay These "Jackpot Winners"?
For starters it's not new technology; it's been in the UK and other European Countries for years. It's been in the U.S. for years too, but in other forms of gambling. We can legally bet on horse races and the process and rules are probably exactly the same. The software allows me to bet on any race, on any horse, and on any type of bet for amounts from 10 cents to $100 providing I have the necessary funds in my account.
It's obvious the rules prevent players from playing on credit and without

Florida lawmakers move to allow lottery sales as gas pumps, ATMs
Florida legislators are moving forward with a bill that would allow lottery tickets to be sold anywhere you can swipe a credit card, including gas pumps and ATMs.
Under this bill, you could get your Powerball, Mega Millions and Florida Lotto tickets at the gas pump, said the bill's sponsor, State Rep. Holly Raschein (R-Key Largo). It will generate new money for education without expenditure of taxpayer dollars.
As expected, any attempted change in lottery laws brings out the anti-gamblin

Yep....After about 1 more month or at the latest, the end of the year they should be able to afford anything they want...Even a Brand New 5-D Recording Device with hologramic people, a virtual reality ball popping machine, and it all ran by an AI, also known as hybrid human beings. We will never get another hit then....

Driven to death by phone scammers
Consumers are so infuriated with robocalls that when we called for volunteers to try out three widely used robocall blocker devices plus Nomorobo s call-blocking technology, more than 130 people responded. We asked each person to install the call blocker that we sent them, monitor the number of robocalls that got through for four days, then disengage it and compare the results. We also asked them to describe how easy it was to set up the robocall blocker.
Some of the devices offer a blackli

Subliminal Messages
Thanks I was reading a lot about it and there are military uses too with technology like this
In fact there are psy-ops used by the U.S. government , so I think there will be something

[UPDATE] D.C. woman who tried to redeem faulty ticket admitted to forging second 'winner'
With all the fancy technology these days, one would assume the length setting is automatic. But even if the length setting is correct, the alignment can still be a problem, as the article points out (and have personally observed, though is extremely rare to see at the self-service dispensers I regularly visit)...
However, there's a simple old-school tech solution, which was utilized in PA, and likely other lotteries too, decades ago - a series of black bars pre-printed on the ticket to deline

What do you NEED to come up with a Winning Lotto System??
You can open a thread for this. The wins are what they pay, at pick 3 just the half of would it could pay. Sticking to the subject, dictation by law of averages, or big numbers if you want, you are trying to beat the wheel, talking roulette. Only, the set limits don't really work, and if you raise the bet and don't win in the end or meet a betting limit, you lost money. I never heard a mathematician being positive about playing the lottery. For a programmer this might be a little project or even

Hot Lotto case moves to jury for deliberations
' What If ... that is the relevant question. l am of the mind that since this incident took place 5 years ago and knowing how fast technology changes, what are the chances that many foul deeds involving these particular games have not been committed since then? Once again What if is the question of the day.
This would or could have been an open shut case was if the clerk who sold the winning ticket in the video could have took the stand and said Yes, that person sitting at the defense table i

Lottery security chief: Rigging computerized game "sadly" possible
The top threat to any lottery's integrity is its own information technology employees, a former lottery security chief told jurors
He should have told them that the greatest threat is inadequate security protocols. Protocols that allow unauthorized software changes to go undetected for weeks on end. Protocols that don't allow them to know when security devices like surveillance systems are tampered with. Protocols that allow somebody to access the drawing computers without other people care
