Last digits for Sweet Million New York
Yes, the last digit of the number 2 is 2. But no, Serge is not talking about just single-digit numbers 0 through 9. He is talking about a 6/40 lotto game (like NY Sweet Million, as his subject lines says) where we choose any 6 from 1 through 40. So the group 10,20,30,40 all end in 0; 1,11,21,31 all end in 1; 2,21,22,32 all end in 2, etc. Note that all 5 groups have 4 elements. That makes the combinatorial calculation relatively easy. I think a 6/49 lotto is more common; but the relative perce

Mathematics and the Lottery
In response to my posting of an Excel VBA function, to wit (abbreviated): Function gap5Combo() As Variant .... iterate over all qualifying combinations, incrementing n .... gap5Combo = Array(n, nc, n / nc) End Function That was not intended to be a tutorial on Excel, and it is unclear what you mean by your comment. We cannot assign to Cells(...) in a VBA function that is called directly or indirectly from an Excel formula, as I intended and explained previously. It results in a

Litigation Proofing your lottery pool
I have read several postings related to naysayers in regards to large lottery pools With help from the past stories I have read on this great website, I think I have refined a litigation proof system I have been using for more than 3 years with a lottery pool that varies currently between 42 and 46 co-workers. Scan all tickets and email them to participants before the first drawing. Include yourself in the group mailing and create a folder and archive all, to show proof that these were sen

Cashier's mistake makes N.H. family lottery winners
A Hillsborough family is the newest New Hampshire Tri-State Megabucks winner, and it was all because of a mistake. Hillsborough resident Scott Bennett wanted to buy tickets to two games on Wednesday, but the clerk made an error. He went up to the register and said he'd like a Lucky For Life ticket and a Tri-State Megabucks Plus ticket, said Maura McCann, New Hampshire Lottery director of marketing. Bennett was buying the tickets at a Hillsborough Circle K. The clerk sold him two Tr

Kansas woman has big prize taken away after it was awarded
A Pratt, Kansas, woman was thrilled when she won a NASCAR prize package for this weekend. That feeling soon turned to disappointment when the Kansas Lottery took the prize back. I'm sure dreams do come true for some, but not for me, said Pratt resident Leisa Mauch. Mauch's dream in this case was to get to the Kansas Speedway. Kyle Busch, Kyle Busch is my guy! For a few days, she thought she had the winning ticket. The Kansas Lottery sent her a letter and it said: Congratulatio

Lotteries a threat to federal Web poker bill?
...all war is staged illusion. Like wow man, if I ever start dropping acid I'll come back and contemplate that one, dude. Far out. Gnarly. Rad. Groovy. Patriots dont start illigitimate wars looking for imaginary WMD. Yeah, I know. They should throw down their weapons and hope for the best while hiding with the women and children. If worse comes to worse, they could just beg and plead for their lives, right? Cuz once they disarm themselves they pretty much have to do whatever th

My spiritual guides gave me #s today
That's quite alright. I sometimes do that by error. If you go to search 'AaNY it shows how to do it from beginning to end how to calculate it. Actually almost 2 years ago many members from each state did back testing and tried it out for their own state. It was fun, it seemed like we were going to school and reporting back on the computer. I just observed because i am not computer savvy but I learned by pen ,pencil and paper. Each state would do the work to see which angl

RL's Digit Master Pro Big Game software download.
Hi guys I just wanted to confirm what adam said. If you are making a after the fact run using the RLP option then you need the R-click the RLP button. This causes the program to start on the second line in the database so that you don't need to remove any draws. If you L-click without removing a draw when backtesting then the program is including the data for the last draw and will almost always hit a 5of5. I covered this in the videos but went over it very quickly. I have all the

RL's Digit Master Pro - Pick 3 Software
lottoburg Both of these errors are because of the database file is either missing or corrupt. When you build the P-4 databases you need to save the raw file to c:\dmp-p4 and save it as p4.txt. Try building the data- base files again. Both errors are the program trying to read data that is not there. Let me know if this helps. Make sure you use the build program for the Pick-4 program as it is different than the pick-3. These are very old programs that have been updated to run on n
