Well said Jim695 I know from past experience that LUCK and I aren't very good friends.I use to believe that LUCK was the only way to win at lottery games. That way of thinking soon changed after being fed up with not hitting any numbers.I don't put down the LUCK players anymore either because they are the ones that keep the money rolling in the games for us strategy players to win.Luck players do hit jackpots but there are more non-lucky players out there who use luck and don't win.THANKS GUY

$300 Milion jackpot.
I agree with RJoh. The number of states in PB or MM has nothing to do with higher or lower average jackpots. The odds remain the same.

Texas Lottery moves Two Step drawing days
Drawing days for the twice-weekly Texas Two Step lottery game have been changed. The drawings will be Monday and Thursday nights instead of Tuesday and Friday nights, the Texas Lottery Commission said Monday.Lottery officials said the change gives players a chance to win jackpots every night except Sunday, when there are no Texas drawings.

$10 million versus $145 million
For the calendar year 2003, there were 104 chances to win the powerball jackpot. There were only eleven powerball jackpot winners for the year. Winning lottery jackpots through the application of knowledge is what drives me. Don't get me wrong, I still buy a QP just to include a little LUCK in the mix!

Is there any special prayer?
Quote: Originally posted by kannooks on June 24, 2004is there any special prayer that one can say to win this jackpot or any? I know I can really use the money to pay off debts.Where did you get the idea that lottery jackpots was for needy people that prayed? Lotteries are for people who got a little extra money to waste for entertainment and a chance on luck. If you got debts that need paid, you should pay them before wasting your money for entertainment like a lottery.RJOh

$10 million versus $145 million
Quote: Originally posted by golotto on June 22, 2004I couldn't agree more. I've always felt that all lottery prizes should be tax free as they are in UK and also jackpot recipients should be given the option of remaining anonymous as they do in UK. The states and lotteries already have their profits from ticket sales and the prizes (including jackpots) should be awarded without any additional state or federal tax burden. The states may have profits from ticket sales, but the US government doesn

Lotto Texas
Yes, some may believe that it's a conspiracy. After all, no jackpot winners = higher jackpots = more tickets sold = more revenues for the state. The state therefore does have incentives to fix drawings.

Texas Lotto sales at all-time high
So there is no reliable method to obtain Texas Lotto tickets on-line? We're really missing the boat on Texas and California. ( Though Todd has informed us that they will be available at some point in the near future through Playlot .) ...and I do not understand the line: ....ranking second in the nation under the multi-state Powerball drawing in the above article. Is that referring to record jackpots for the respective lotteries?

Lotto Texas now at $100 million
Lotto Texas and MegaMillions jackpots are climbing at about the same rate. That hard to believe since I thought Lotto Texas was played by fewer people. Texas must have a lot of lottery players.RJOh
