2 years of Mass Millions losing
Ohio has Super Lotto, a 649P game that's very similar and it hardly ever goes more than 10 draws without a winner and its jackpot never get that big and matching 5 pays less. I would think with one of the top five jackpots in the country, more people from out of state would be playing. RJOh

What would you do if... (warning:big if )
I would play the lottery if I won a small amount or large amount of money because it is my form of entertainment. Winning to me never gets old and their is always going to be big jackpots to win and people trying to win them, so why not me! I would never get bored of playing for money that I have a chance at winning.

Hot Lotto Section Added
plnwebguy:According to the Minnesota Lottery web site, drawings are on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:10 pm (presumably CST).There seems to be little interest in this game. Jackpots rise slowly, probably due to Powerball being played on the same days. I'd like to see them shift the game to either a Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday format.Best regards and wishes,Rick

Would you tell or not?
Considering 2004 is still young, with many enormous jackpots yet to be offered this year... very possibly surpassing anything we've seen lately (remember the number of huge Powerball draws we had last year with 22 drawings of $100 Million or more including several well over $200 Million! ...and that's just Powerball alone!) Yes, I'd certainly tell at any level. I'd truly hope others would also tell if they hit the numbers in any jackpot game! :))

Illinois officials expect huge lottery ticket sales
When the winning numbers are not drawn in the Mega Millions lottery game, it means a bigger contribution to state coffers. With tickets sales today expected to approach $1 million an hour for tonight's record $222 million jackpot, lottery officials are smiling.Sales build as jackpots grow, and the Mega Millions game has not had a winner in 12 drawings.Anne Plohr Rayhill, a spokeswoman for the Illinois Lottery, said about 35 cents of every dollar spent in Illinois on lottery games goes into the Il

Large lottery jackpots mean more big bucks for Ohio
Ohio lottery officials hit the jackpot yesterday, as Mega Millions fever brought in about $148,000 an hour for the state. The multi-state game was already outperforming fiscal year 2003 levels, according to Ohio Lottery Commission officials, and the recent surge of sales due to Friday's $222 million jackpot has helped the state's bottom line even more. Everything seems to be falling in place for us, said Mardele Cohen, spokeswoman for the Ohio Lottery Commission. We needed a big winner in Ohio,

Probability of a rollover in PB and MM
Quote: Originally posted by prob987 on February 19, 2004 Let us also guess that the next rollover will have a jackpot jump of $100 million because of growing lotto fever especially in Texas where such jackpots are seldom seen. A Jackpot of $222M have never been seen in Ohio either and players from Powerball states like Indiana, Kentucky, West Virgina and Pennsylvania are coming to Ohio to buy MegaMillions tickets because that is a big jackpot amount no matter which state you're from.RJOh
