I quit doing Powerball a while ago unless my company has a pool then I'd rather take my chances on pick 4. Powerball for me is like a mirage in the desert. I think I woke up one day when a friend of mine who's friend played in the NBA said his friends and a few other (NBA) players went in years ago on Powerball spending like 10 grand on tickets over the course of a few days and the best they got was 4 numbers. They payed a few people to go through all of the tickets for them. Craziness. Why

Clarification....I lumped CA in with my discussion of Indie and NY winning the Mega and Powerball jackpots...of course, CA only offers Mega but it seems as though if it isn't CA, NY, or Indie winning Mega Millions, then it is NY and Indie winning Powerball.
