Approximately 75% of all lottery tickets sold are QP's Therefore I'd expect 67 of the 89 second place prizes to be QP's. I think the big question now is do they have enough money in the second place prize pool to pay out the total second place prize value of $117 million? My guess is they don't and the 89 second place prizes are going to be paid out on a parimutuel basis. G5

Each ticket is up against the same odds. Take your theory to PB and MM level. Consider that for every drawing those who play do not realize they are all part of one humongous pool. We'll use odds of 300,000,000 to malt it easier. So if the first ticket is up against 300M and the next ticket is up against 150M, etc. somebody will have twin. I like the idea but that's a lot of steps involved for one pick 3 number when u don't even know if the next hit is going to come from that number or another draw number. I guess it gives you a pool of numbers to hold and work with.

Our pool did not win anything in yesterday's Mega Millions draw. I was really hoping the tickets with the 10 times multiplier would win at least $50. We have our tickets for the next draw. Two tickets have 3 times multipliers.
