Mississippi Lottery halts Cash 3 triple payout promotion one week in
Thanks Todd
Has any other state lottery suspended sales for a game because of too many winners?
Everything about this promotion is weird where a game with a house edge of 50% is flipped so the players have a 50% edge.

Missing In Mississippi
Good thing nobody told me that Mississippi was paying triple on Cash 3 !
I would have loaded the Bat-Computer on the bike and lit out for the parts. LOL!
And by the time I got there the Mississippi Lottery Corporation would have already shut that promotion down.

Mississippi Lottery halts Cash 3 triple payout promotion one week in
Apparently the Mississippi Lottery doesn't employ anyone that understands a pick 3 game. Especially when syndicates are spending millions in some states to buy every lotto game combination for a guaranteed jackpot with the only risk of splitting it was other winning tickets.
Mississippi players could spend $1000 and get a guaranteed $500 win. Most states have limits on the total amount the will pay out, but doesn't change the win for anyone wagering $1000 before the limit was reached.

Mississippi Lottery triples all Cash 3 prizes for November
i really wonder what their logic was when they came up with this promotion. some ideas:
the ms lottery assumes that most players reinvest their winnings into buying more tickets, therefore the free money will just go back into the ecosystem. or...
the ms lottery assumes that only a small fraction of players will make playing pick 3 their full time job and that the vast majority will not buy up all straight combinations every draw.
i don't think the second one is a safe assumption.

Michigan Lottery announces Bonus Draws Daily 4 promotion
During the promotion month, Michigan lottery could be changing out the ball machines more frequently. Systems aren't useless. Using a system is better than playing blindly everyday such as a birthday.
That's not what I said. It would not cancel out my ticket. That would be ridiculous! The entire process of pulling the winning number may be different. Its not an irrational conclusion when I see it for myself, dude. In July 2024, the system was working like a charm! Even though I wasn't wi

Iowa Lottery commemorates 40th anniversary with throwback ticket from 1985
Iowa players can get a vintage taste of lottery wins
By Kate Northrop
To celebrate turning 40 this year, the Iowa Lottery released a special anniversary ticket that calls back to the original scratch-off game from 1985.
The Iowa Lottery is commemorating its fourth decade with a new scratch-off game that allows players to get a vintage taste of what playing the lottery used to look like.
Iowa players can stop by a lottery retailer to pick up a 2025 version of the Iowa Lottery's fi

By Kate Northrop
After Lottery Post alerted the DC Lottery to a possible error that prevented tickets from winning in three of its local draw games for weeks, the DC Lottery has announced several different forms of compensation for players who may have been impacted by the computerized drawing glitch.
Last week, Lottery Post reached out to the DC Lottery after Lottery Post mem

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
Does anybody know if any of the top prize winners of a million dollars in the current raffle will be able to remain anonymous?
I won 40 bucks yesterday. I'm going to spend it on two millionaire raffle tickets. If I was ever so lucky to win one of the top prizes, I'd want to claim it anonymously, but I'm not sure that can happen.
For Florida draw games (Lotto, PB, MM Fantasy5) only winners names of the top prize (a jackpot win) appear in The Top Prize Winners and Retailers Report publishe

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
I have my doubts that 2 million tickets can be sold considering the time of year The Florida Lottery is running what they're calling 'a promotion'.
The Pennsylvania Lottery's Millionaire Raffle ticket selling window is during the fourth quarter of the year. It gets a nice boost in sales during Christmas when people gift raffle tickets. The maximum number of tickets that can be sold is 500,000 and for many years The PA Lottery has had no problem selling all 500,000 tickets. The Florida Lotte
