Tennessee
Unlike North Dakota, TN will wait until after its lottery starts to decide which multi-state game to join.

Merchants: Not enough terminals for N.D. lottery
Maybe this is a backlash of ND selling only multi-state tickets (specifically, no scratch games except possibly the PB TV game).

TEXAS $47 million
It will be interesting to see how long after joining a multi-state game that Lotto Texas undergoes another format change.

Sometimes I even confuse myself...
ok, having decided to win the jackpot of one of the below listed games, I invest $5.00 per game, twice a week.Sure the jackpots are larger for the multi-state games, but hey, a million would take the edge off.So, if one would be satisfied with 1 million or so, I should be investing all 20 bucks in the MD lotto twice a week instead of spreading it out over all of them.Game OddsPowerBall 1 : 120,526,770 Mega Millions 1 : 135,145,920MD Lotto 1 : 6,9

MUSL Hot Lotto
CASH,Well the TN Lottery has to be around for 6 months before they can join a multi-state organization. Then it's probably another 3-4 months after they are approved, before the tickets start (especially considering the slowness with which TN deals with their lottery). So we're looking at late 2004. Hot Lotto would be 2 1/2 years old by then. Depending on how sales go in DC may determine whether MUSL keeps the game.As far as TN joining MUSL or going with MM, that's really very interesting. Cause

Ohio 6/49 Lotto increases by just 2 million (11m-13m)
That's why a 3-of-6 match in NY Lotto 6/59 pays YOUR DOLLAR BACK and 4-of-6 Saturday night (5/25) paid $15.00! On two occasions 4-of-6 paid ONLY $13.00! The NY state legislature, while approving NY joining a multi-state game last year (expected to pass even if 9/11 didn't happen), has never allowed the NY Lotto game to return more than 40% in prizes. A 50% prize pool could be used to pay $3 for matching three numbers with the remainder funding larger 4-of-6 prizes (no need to increase the jackpo

Why just some states involved
I bet one day they will. Joining a multi-state game means giving up some control of the format.

Ohio Lottery Players
RJ: Since Ohio isn't part of a multi-state game, and probably isn't about to sell tickets for one, it needs big jackpots in their 6/49, even if it means you lose with three numbers, and win just $5 by matching 4-of-7. The Hoosier Lotto (6/48) pays $3 for three numbers, and a free play for just TWO NUMBERS, because it doesn't need an occasional $100 million jackpot since they have Powerball. The new Michigan Millions 6/51 should have been modeled on Hoosier Lotto instead of your 6/49. Good luck S
