I don't have any concrete news, but I'd like to see Canada, or the UK join in the Powerball. A change of that sort would likely accompany a price hike.

Tucker Black, what you said is true but every pit boss and shift boss I worked for said any $1 bet that might win a million dollars is a good bet. This all started when the casino I was working in at the time offered to pay $1 million if any piece of Skylab landed on the casino property! If I remember right it landed somewhere in the ocean close to Australia. I didn't say most likely to happen, I said more likely to happen between hitting all six numbers or hitting five and no Powerball.

True but what is more likely to happen, hitting all six numbers or hitting five and not the Powerball? All 15 regular tickets are up against 292.2 million odds.

Clean sheet , Most people play $2 Powerball instead of $3 even though if the fit 5 plus 0 that third dollar would mean winning $2M instead of $1M. Most here for whatever reason are hyper paranoid about playing anything for $1 more.

In Atlantic Canada. We do not have Mega Millions or Powerball But we have Lotto Max, which costs $5.00 to play. But may go up in cost in 2026.

This is the highest recorded probability for this run. Interesting to note, sales are projected to increase dramatically for the Saturday draw given the projected probability of a winning jackpot is 61.8%. The large jackpot will most likely not make it to the new year.
