Which System do you use??
Zeno,Systems can and do work. Now I haven't won any jackpots but I have hit 5/6 on a Pick 6 game on average once every two months. I must be doing something right and I promise you it isn't just luck or reading horoscopes. How much have you won recently? I just won $1100 three weeks ago. It isn't millions but it is something and I have done it more than once.

Probability of a rollover in PB and MM
What I'm saying is that only 12,000,000 of the possible 120,000,000 (approximately) combinations (for powerball) will actually have been used up. Of that 12,000,000, about 1.5 million will be covered twice. This means that there's a 90% chance that the Jackpots will roll over into the next drawing.

FL-new (annuitized) Mega Money
My understanding is that Mega Money has always featured a LUMP SUM jackpot. However, the new version will be annuitized (haven't found out if there will be a cash OPTION).FL obviously is a retirement haven, with NO state income tax. Although I have no problem with annuitized jackpots provided there is a cash _option_, I believe a game that started out as all-cash should stay that way, unless a brand new game is introduced. I do not consider the new Mega Money as brand-new, but an

Powerball and Mega Millions Merge
I don't know if I would say competition, being that I'm from a no lotto state, I like having mm on tues and fri , pb on sat and wed. pb tickets are closer though.....................I have to agree with LaurainMass I like hoppin back and forth to those big jackpots.

Jack Whittaker
I have never seen such a stupid who carries hard cash of 100,000 + in his SUV and does it repeatedly. I would rather carry the plastic money or the checks. God has rightly said , you cant convert a dumb to a smart by just giving him the money .Good luck to all lotto players. Hope we all hit the jackpots :)witty

$2-per-play lotto
i DON'T like the idea of a $2 play. lotteries that are poorly run (like mega) and producing small jackpots need to change the game not the cost per ticket. the only thing they would do is stop the $1 only players from playing which i'm sure is a lot of players. the amount of money that each player plays is already kind of set. i certainly don't plan on spending more

Powerball and Mega Millions Merge
no ...i like the idea of a little friendly competition. besides, i'd already call Mm and Pb Super Lotteries. i don't think my heart could stand the strain of any more frequent jackpots over 100Million. Powerball alone had 18 draws last year over 100M. (19 draws of 100M and above). that's Super enough for me.

If you found a winning lottery ticket what would you do?
yes, hopefully returned back into the prize purse for the lottery players. bigger jackpots will result in more ticket sales. No, it goes into the general fund supposedly. The players may see some of it in the form of special promotions. But I think it is absorbed into whatever programs the states lottery supports.
