When the jackpots are high, more tickets are sold. When more tickets are sold, the likelihood that a winning number will be bought is higher. I dont know how many tickets were sold but I do remember when the jackpot went over a billion, California sold over 35 million tickets. There were 511,368 winning tickets in California last night. This one has the advantage of starting $31 million higher, but it's extremely doubtful that's enough to make such a big difference. If we call that $31 million a 10% difference we might see it go from 461 to 580 or 590, but the next jump would still have to be almost twice as big as the one from last August. Does the newest version of A+ only sort them starting with 01 04 14 15 31 to 20 24 26 30 36?
