500 Million Jackpot?
As long as a $100M-$200M jackpot creates enough interest to sell 70 millions tickets, there's going be a 50/50 chance someone will win the jackpots after each rollover and the odds are there won't be enough of them to reach $500M. With some inflation and some bad economic policies, maybe some day a $100M jackpot will create the same interest as a $10M jackpot does today, but I hope not doing my life time because I'm retired on today's dollars.RJOh

Wish list for 2004
i dont think powerball or mega in there current forms will hit even 300 million. the jackpots have really fallen since two years ago and i dont see them ever getting back up again. since mega is fine for alot of people even with the prizes about the same as a california/florida lottery instead of a multistate lottery i think the biggest prize record some people in here want to match or break will never happen again.

Time to change Mega Millions
Quote: Originally posted by DoubleDown on January 02, 2004 ....BTW--she also said that dropping the Georgia Lottery ( pick 6 ) and replacing it with Lotto South would be better, but it has pitiful ticket sales and very low jackpots. It is so poor, it only grows by 1 mil per week unless it gets to double digits.....Georgia already has Lotto South; they wouldn't be replacing Pick 6 with it.

Time to change Mega Millions
A lottery will change when someone often win its jackpots.Or else they wont be stupid to change the way it is.its just more benefitical for them, not for lotto players.

Powerball: $221.5 Million
According to the individual state winners page on powerball.com there are two winners. One ticket was sold in Pennsylvania, while the other ticket was sold in South Carolina. Now the Main Page has not confirmed it yet, but if their stat page is correct, there will be no roll over. Whatever happened to these supper jackpots they promised a year ago.

Tuesday's Mega Millions Jackpot Raised to $155 Million
i wish we would get the big game lottery in tennessee. i can drive to kentucky and play the powerball. the biggame has bigger jackpots at times. i love powerball, but i can go to kentucky to play it,much shorter drive than going to georgia for a big game lottery ticket. i wish other people from tennessee would post some on here which game they want in. powerball or big game lottery?

PA Super Six is going away...
Czar:Hot Lotto replaced Roll Down. HL would work in PA, but I suppose PA would want it to create higher jackpots, given PA's large population base.
