Wisconsin couple to be investigated for excessive lottery wins
20+ years ago, Ohio had the same problems with their second chance draws. It seems most of the winners were postal workers from their local main post office. It turned out the postal workers made sure their entrances were at the top of the mail bags they delivered to the lottery office and the lottery people were picking the winners from the top of the mail bags thinking the mail bags were naturally mixed. They tried to say the postal workers cheated by stacking the mail bags in their favor.

Clash of the Lottery Titans: Scientific Games Suing Rival GTECH
Scientific said GTECH's systems for MUSL's Powerball Power Play and Keno Plus games violate its patents covering online lottery games that include an optional bonus wager. If a player who opts for the bonus wager wins a prize in the base game, the player's winnings get multiplied by a random amount. If they win, I may take out a patent on planting seeds in the spring, all the farmers in my area do it, but nobody owns the patent on that idea as far as I know. I could collect royalties from al

Can an illegal collect the jackpot?
Quote: Originally posted by wreakshavok777 on April 30, 2005Why is it that when the phrase illegal is used everyone thinks of mexican,s ! What if its an illegal canadian??? or some other country....Illegals come from all over the world but the posts seem to be about by MegaMillions tickets being bought by non citizens coming across the boarder in California and Texas, one just assume they're from Mexico. I suppose had it been about Michigan, one would assume they would be from Canada. As

Mega Millions Drawing for 04/29/2005
Quote: Originally posted by getpaid on April 29, 2005Boy are you guys greedy, nobody wants $12 million?If players are happy to match 5+0 when the jackpot is $200M+, what make you think they wouldn't be just as happy to do the same when the jackpot is $12M? In both cases the prize is $175K, a lot less than a million. I played these tonight.FILE : MM042905 23 31 37 38 44 +10 16 30 32 33 50 +38 08 14 27 43 46 +05 06 15 28 29 35 +35 03 04 05 22 49 +2

rolling cash 5
rgsc1234,First I simply do it by hand and if I think I would like to do it again later with another or larger file, I write a routine with variables in GWBasic and add it to the lottery program I write and maintain myself, that way I can do the same calculation many more times for every lottery I play in just a minute or so. That's the nice part of writing your own programs or using Excel or some similar program, you can mine your data files in different ways and not be limited to someone else'

Interesting reading...

What will you guys do then?I don't think that will happen with all the games, just the ones where the players are taken for granted. The daily pick3 and pick4 games continue to do well for most states and the payouts and matrix don't vary so many states figure nothing has to be done to attract and keep players of these games, they will play regardless. With jackpot games, matrix and payouts are c
