Worst US lottery game?Reply
The problem with figuring payout percentages for most lotteries, good or bad, is that most games have variable jackpots. Other games are pari-mutuel, where the player assumes all the risk. I noticed that when I created my web page with those percentages. Given that, of the lotteries I have on my list, the Delaware Lotto game, based on the jackpot starting value, only pays out about 19.27%.

Powerball at $100 million!!Reply
I am wondering if powerball and mega millions have ever thought about a merge of the two games to create one mass lottery for the U.S. It could be possible by 2010 to have every state ratify their constitutions to allow one large multi-state lottery to operate in the U.S. You could call it Superball lotto or powermillions or megaballs . Raise the odds to reflect the countries playing base and jackpots would grow into the atmosphere. Just a thought!

I hope that the odds swing in my favor and someone other than Indiana wins because they have been taking the bulk of the jackpots this year. I would love to see Oregon or any of the smaller states in powerball win the jackpot this time.

Mega Millions rolls to $71 MillionReply
It sure would be nice to see mega millions rollover continually to about Febraury and have a nice size jackpot to by some tickets online. Mega millions hasn't had the big jackpots lately like powerball that's why they need Texas to help them out.

Todd, I ususally don't check my numbers until the next day, so tomorrow will tell if I won anything. I'm just happy that I will be able to pay for jackpots higher than what Lotto Texas usually offers. I'm chasing the big dollars - the very big dollars. Maybe for the nexct drawing I'll play one of lottoking's sets (ha, ha)....

i usually spend nothing a week. i wait for big jackpots then spend 100-350 depending on how likely i think it will be hit or continue to roll. for that dec 25 drawing for ~ 300 mil i spend around 350 and if the pots around 200 then i spend around 100-150.

I spend $35 a week on a 6/36 game and another $5 per draw on a 5/31 game when the jackpot gets larger. I also spend $5 per draw on a 6/49 and Powerball when the jackpots are larger. I would say I spend $50-$75 a week total.

why do people complain so much about the jackpots....maybe we should just get it over with and have a 9/99 game with a 1/99 megaball and play for a billion dollar jackpot....its amazing what people complain about these days
