It also added new software for the entire system.About 1,500 of the new machines can check tickets immediately after they are purchased to see whether they are winners. Those include scratch-game tickets - the Lottery's largest sellers - which account for nearly two- third

Lottery dealer opens his books to show he's not getting rich
what ever happened to the little guy making money, instead of the government. if the government officials already signed a contract for x amount of profits for the retailers, they should live up to their part. period..! if the little guy opens up his books, then maybe the lottery commission ought to do the same. maybe they may be the ones making all the profits. just my opinion, but something smells a little fishy in that Salmon habitat...!

Ohio lottery pool lawsuit focuses on time of purchase
Our pool has a pre-written contract. The person that is purchasing the tickets for that week is not to buy their own tickets! We always post a copy of the ticket at work on the kitchen wall!

Ohio lottery pool lawsuit focuses on time of purchase
Kyle is a weasel. I still believe in pools. This very situation should also be written into any pool's contract.

Telling someone the winning numbers
I was just wondering since many here post numbers that they don't always play how would you feel if someone played those numbers and then won.Would you expect half, thanks or what. That would assume that you told or posted the numbers and either didn't or couldn't play the game and that you didn't have a contract with the person to buy the tickets.

Animal group sues Powerball lottery winners
I agree with Todd. Why would anyone agree to a 20 year contract without an escape clause for anything, let alone a charity? If you want to give money, make it clear you will give what you want when you want - if you want to give for 20 years do so but be under no contractual obligation to do so. This shows that if you win, you should be very careful about what you say and agree to.
