Well, how about for us folks who use the play slips exclusively? I wish some state, or the national lotto as a whole could come up with a way for the player to just turn in previous tickets played, so that the players can replay the next time, if they so choose. I'd call that a triumph. Then, the clerk wouldn't have to run my slips through, generate the ticket, then put the slip on one side, on the counter; the ticket on the other side. So, eliminating that, would be a triumph for me. I

I go to the grocery store in our town for lunch usually for a turkey sandwich from the deli ( on the best darn cheesy bread) and a cold bottle of sweet tea, a few times a week. I usually have a few dollar bills crumpled up here and there, and I sort and separate them into dollar bills that are flat and smooth, and dollar bills that are old a crumpled. Here in North Carolina, we can buy lottery tickets - both ticketed and scratch-offs - from vending machines. Some stores make you validate your age by scanning your driver's license before taking money. Other ones just let you put the money directly in. My question is: if I use the vending machine that needs to scan my driver's license - does it retain that information/send it to the lottery commission? Idaho Raffle Adds Instant Win Component
They've been trying for years to get people to buy tickets earlier. This year they're offering a $5,000 prize (awarded in a drawing) to someone who buys a ticket in the first 10 days. And they are giving an instant $1,000 prize to the person who buys each 25,000th ticket. I coulda sworn there used to be a two or four $25,000 prizes, but none this year. I Cannot Believe This Happened- AGAIN!
I like to scratch tickets and do so on a regular basis getting my fair share of decent winners. I have yet to encounter that truly life-changing ticket. My biggest win so far has been 10K and I have had one 5K win and a bunch of 2K and 1K's as well so yes, obviously I play quite a bit! Since I did well playing the $25 Florida Cash the last 2 days, I decided to put most of today's funds into them and cut back on the others. From the Publix on Hiawassee Rd in Metrowest Orlando. 4 x $25 Florida Cash Each from a different roll (2 from the counter, 2 from the vending machine). Last night I had a problem when I asked for a pick-3 number I played on hunch, $1 straight four times and a $1 box one time. The clerk handed me four 50 cent str/box tickets and when I explained four $1 straight on four separate tickets, he handed me a $6 super straight ticket. On the third try, the light bulb came on and he handed me exactly what I wanted. The problem could be a language barrier or simply the clerk was new and inexperienced with the lottery terminal.
