MUSL Hot Lotto
smd:From what I hear, TX-2S is not a highly popular game. It certainly is superior to Super-6.Notice that one ball CAN win in TX-2S, but not in the new Lotto Texas. We can argue that a 4+1 game could replace Super-6, but PA is used to having simultaneous multi-million dollar jackpots (eg Wild Card Lotto Keystone Jackpot), so, I doubt you'll see a 4+1 game in PA.

MUSL Hot Lotto
CASH,As far as I can tell the game is pretty successful since jackpots start at $200K and have rolled over to $2.1 Million (all CASH) after 9 drawings (between 02/25/03 and 03/28/03).The overall odds of winning a prize in TX Two Step are double that of Hot Lotto (1 in 32 vs. 1 in 16.09), but the lower payouts are better and the jackpot odds are way better. Will Texas Join.....
Looks like Texas went for Powerball as I had thought. MM better get on the ball and come up with a plan to get bigger jackpots, faster.

Do lottery systems really work?
Also I think you might want too double check your information about most winners being quick-pick users from what MIDWSTRNGRL says most tickets sold are quick-picks but the majority of Jackpots won are from players that select there own numbers not quick-picksher post about this is somewhere in here.

Powerball growing faster
I see in the Big Game Lottery news that Ohio is having second thoughts about Mega Millions because of it's slow growing and small jackpots. Which is about the way I feel as a player. No wonder the new lottery States are going for Powerball.

Powerball's Cash Option
Anyone notice that Powerball's initial Cash Option has decreased for this next drawing to $5.5 Million? Previous starting jackpots have been at $6 Million ever since they switched to the 30 year annuity. Since interest rates haven't changed, I wonder why the decrease?

OH NO!!
If you didn't get a chance to play and lose this time, there will be other jackpots, althought I was waiting for the jackpot to reach $100M, now $87M doesn't sound bad. I may play a few numbers in MM $20M game today.RJOh

Powerball $77 million Sat 5/3
Whoa - I wouldn't go replacing Classic Lotto with Hot Lotto! It would be bad for the state (not as much revenue), jackpots are not nearly as big, etc., etc. However, it would be nice if they ADDED Hot Lotto to their menu.
