It would nice to see a $100M megamillion jackpot, their jackpot aren't getting any higher than many state jackpots. In Ohio a third of the time the State lottery has a bigger jackpot and Megamillion has not had the jackpot sizes that the lottery commission had hoped that would attract more players. RJOh

Well, if the TLC {Texas Lottery Commision) IS trying to kill the lottery, they're doing a REAAAAAAALY good job at it. At least they're talking again about doing either powerball or Megamillions. Adding one of those would most definately wound the TLC. I'd play powerball over their new lotto game just cuz the jackpots are bigger the database would be bigger. Plus more people discuss those games than Texas games.

I think the more states that enter into the powerball or MM games will increase the jackpot size. Eventually there might be a national lottery with humongeous jackpots. Like a billion dollars. Imagine that. Wasn't that a twilight zone episode? It'd be a cool reality show to see how somebody's life would change.

Buckeye5 has a fixed amount for 5/5. The Ohio649P and MegaMillions games have jackpots that increase until there is a winner. Pick 3 and 4 work similar to other states.Will be using those $2 for Megamillions picks tonight.RJOh

But does anyone need a $500 million prize? Or doyou agree that no one needs it, but just think it would be exciting to see? It can easily happenwith the present setup I'm sure...there are lotsand lots of unpicked numbers for each drawing,all they need is to choose them 20-30 times in arow. I'm sure it'll happen. Hopefully after Iwin a modest $32 million tonight. I'd rather seepeople win regularly than have no winners forweeks on end and $400 million jackpots.

You are right cash only. It is a new international game that includes most EU countries and will have the same size jackpots like MM or Powerball.But I can't seem to get any info on this new lottery. Do you know where I can get it?

Besides the Mega Millions and Powerball, are there any other countries worldwide that has huge jackpots like the ones in the US? where over 100m can be won by 1 personI know Spain has but the big jackpot is shared by countless of poeple so each person only gets a couple of millions.Any other countries?

First jackpot winner March 26.WINFALL jackpots start at $2 million; if it reaches $5 million and still no winner, lower tier prizes multiplied about 10x. Jackpot then re-starts at $2 million.The first few WINFALL drawings included carryover money from the previous game, Michigan Millions .

Any lottery game is boring to the losers, but it's the losers that create the larger jackpots. Adding more numbers will just create more chances to lose for the losers and the losers will be even more bored when someone wins a even larger jackpot. The Powerball had a nice jackpot size last Christmas under its new set-up and it's jackpot still climbs faster than the MM jackpot with the better odds.RJOh

Ohio649P & Megamillion both $15M
Ohio649P with odds of 1:13,983,816 and Magamillions with odds of 1:135,145,920 both have jackpots of $15M. Ohioians will have to decide if they want to win $15M the hard way of the easy way. It will be interesting to see which game sells more tickets for Tuesday and Wednesday drawings.Good luck Ohio players.RJOh
