Banking on one number
I keep telling my mom not to play MM, the odds or just so out there. Just stick with state lotto and maybe powerball.
I'm not even gonna waste my time with a pool if it gets to a record jackpot. But I will buy 1 ticket myself

Take5 NY
If anybody was going to hit four numbers in Take5, last nite was the night to do it. $1,031 bucks for 4 numbers.
Does anybody know if The NY State Lottery has recently changed the split with regard to how much money is paid out of the total ticket sales pool to T5 winners and how much they keep? (Out of all they money they take in via T5 ticket sales, what percentage is allocated to T5 players with winning tickets and what percentage does the state keep?)
Guys, I hate to say it, but I thin

Playing recently drawn numbers to win a jackpot
If I had been in a pool it would have been more than me doing the math. I prefer working alone and taking all the blame and credit for the decisions I make, the payoff is I don't have to share the winnings.
For now I've decided to not play MM until it has a little history. Besides with the state's Classic Lotto(6/49) at $50.6M and Rolling Cash5(5/39) at $509K, I have some excellent alternates to the multi-states games.

Yes Glen I agree with everything you said. I know it's a lot that has to be done when you're dealing with a pool of any kind. When you or whoever cross all your T's and dot all your I's, you know where to find me. I think we should at least try it for a couple of months. If it goes well then we could do it indefinitely. Think about it everyone and give us your input. Like cash4nija said, it's only an idea.

NFL Picks--Week 9
Lol Lotto, I'm not that confident. My husband, son and I do a house pool. We all put in $35 beginning of season. We go all the way to Super Bowl and when playoffs start whoever has the best season doesn't have to pick during playoffs- automatic win. It's fun and we have been doing it for years. Son is now 17 so now that he has a job next year bets will be higher. Have a great football Sunday.

New York Halloween Millions raffle ...
You're right it is sweet...
Ct has been running the SuperDraw raffle twice per year since 2011. They hold one of the drawings on The 4th of July, and the other is held on New Years Day. Tickets are sold in April, May and June for the July 4th drawing, and in October, November and December for the New Years day drawing. They're on sale for the 1/1/2014 drawing now.
For last July's drawing, tickets did NOT sell out. I believe the number sold was 262,000 which lowered the odds to 262,000 to 1

Pool / Syndicate or Solo player?
Hi,
I ran a pool of 10 people for about 6 months in Lotto 6/49 in Canada.
I set up rules of participation and made them all sign them, then collected
$32 to $36 per head every month. We played 40 tickets per draw 8 to 9
times a month. I made the playing very transparent providing everybody
with a copy of all tickets. For about 4 month we were in black (won more
than spent) but then our luck turned and after 2 month of losses the pool
dissolved. Never had any problems with a

What was your take on the show "Lucky 7"
My guess is that when the mechanic found the crumbled $10, he was thinking:
If only I had found it 24 hrs earlier, I would have been in the pool
Remember he told his wife that he was saving the weekly $10 that he would normally put in the lottery pool with his co-workers .thus the $10 that he found would have been extra money because he had already saved $10 for that week .(I think that is why he gave a chuckle as he was holding the money)
Right now, the mechanic is the only likeable
