I Failed at Instant Scratchers
If you haven't noticed, but I record all of my scratchers, I normally post the winning ones on YouTube and save the losers for a compilation video down the road. Well Shawn Rose commented that I missed something extremely important on Green Gold scratcher. Here is the video for it. My Epic Fail! Don't get me wrong I save all of my scratchers to be scanned in the mobile app my state has for extra points. Also for data collection down the road. But pretty awesome for someone to save my ass!

Can't argue that playing all of them will be worthwhile so have to narrow but these two sums statistically should have played about 4x in the last 30 days. Although sum 14 has not yet played in April, has played as 572 March 30 evening, 419 March 29 evening, and 068 March 28 midday so 3x in last 30 days but due to play again. Sum 16

Saylorgirl, I think it becomes different when the jackpot is at a record-breaking amount. Everybody is talking about it for three days or more. Before, on, and after the special day. You do not have to lie but tell them that you won a smaller amount. Your best friends and family will understand why afterwards. This tactic is good for the press. Anonymity is best. A crazy lottery story
This morning I purchased two lottery tickets for this week's Mega and Power from a vending machine. They were quick picks. The computer definitely generated two sets of numbers but the printer jammed and no tickets were printed. When they opened the machine and pulled out the ticket paper it was all blank. When is a winning ticket considered your income?Reply
I would think it becomes income when you collect it, when you cash in the ticket. You're not responsible for paying taxes on income that you never receive as winnings. No one, including yourself, even knows that you have that money coming to you, if you lose the ticket. So, why should you owe taxes on winnings that you have not collected yet ??
