PB and MM experiment
Mega Millions will reach an advertised jackpot of $750,000,000.00 then be won by one lone ticket, Mine.
Power Ball will break the record just made and be won at an advertised jackpot of $1,650,000,000.00 by ME.
Me, Myself, and I will party!!

Mega Millions and Powerball both at/over $1 Billion. Your thoughts?
As Murgatroyd says, the chance of both reaching a billion at the same time is very small. Even both being over $500 million is very low probability.
If (notice the big if) it did happen it would be very interesting to see the resulting player behavior. If players split fairly evenly between the two we might see relatively modest sales for each. Instead of the roughly 630 million tickets that were sold for the record PB perhaps we'd see sales of about 300 to 350 million for each, or about that

The P4 are a 1 minute draw away from the P3, I always keep a record of both. Look back to the dates to see where people where waiting on triples, they rolled over to P4 so P4 and P3 go hand and hand. The numbers arent going to roll back. If you are waiting on 123 on P3 and 7123 come in they arent coming back, maybe not a good example but you catch my drift??,,,in my humble opinion but I am a student. You are smart to watch then SM.
Look everyone was waiting on trip 7 s of Sept/Dec 77 or 777 c

Record $1.6 billion Powerball jackpot won by 3 tickets
Can the winner of a large Lottery prize remain anonymous?
It is the policy of the Tennessee Lottery to treat such information as a public record. The Lottery will therefore disclose the name, home state and home town of winners if a request is received for such information.

Iowa Lottery CEO Terry Rich answers your questions
Yup, that's why I said it is just like another big business. Also, yes, I know it can't be perfect, but looking at the track record for computers, a little human intervention shown at the end process (when the drawings take place) would go a long ways in easing sceptical minds.
I won't get into it here but I wrote a long winded semi-rant in response to the idea of Keno being started in CT a couple years ago on here, if you can find it you will understand why I don't trust those games. I haven

Anonymity for this huge jackpot. Let's settle this right here and now.
One thing you don't seem to be taking into account...in several states annonymity is the law and not just a rule or lottery custom. In my state it is a law that covers several privacy issues related to state record keeping--so to overturn that law they would have to dismantle the current law, rewrite a substantial part of the state code, and get it by both the people and the governor. That just isn't going to happen in my state.
Now I won't say that the lottery officials might not try to pres

I think that powerball has crossed the line what do you think?
Whatever.
We saw how that worked out with Monopoly Millionaire.
If this jackpot is too much money for you, you don't have to buy a ticket.
For the record, I play every draw, not just when the jackpot is huge, so it's not greed for me.

I think that powerball has crossed the line what do you think?
I hope there will be at least 5 winners of the jp. I agree about the serious danger especially if one person wins. I am playing but find myself saying, as with the record mm a few years ago, please Do Not let me win the jp....I aim for 2nd place only. I feel that it is amazing to see a jp of over a billion, but I also worry for a single winner.
I never thought I would say this, but that high a jp is too much. I think this may backfire in some way.

Confused Signing Your Name on Powerball Ticket Yet You Can Be Anonymous By Forming a Trust?
Hopefully someone can help me on this matter as forming a Trust to Remain Anonymous to claim a Powerball Jackpot for which you should sign your name in the back of the ticket for protection seems a total contradiction in terms. I didn't find anything on the Internet that reconciled this. I live in California and if I ever won the Jackpot I sure as hell wouldn't want anyone to know if I've won. I read that you can form a trust and have your identity hidden. But how can your identity be hidden if

POWERBALL CREATES WORLD'S FIRST BILLION-DOLLAR JACKPOT
Out of control indeed. Personally, I'm leery of playing in this drawing. It's not the amount of money itself that's the issue, but rather the crush of publicity of winning a world record jackpot. Seemingly every friend , family member, etc will come out of the woodwork seeking help , so-called investment advisers offering their advice , fending off outright scammers, and dealing with frivolous lawsuits. And then there's security and privacy to contend with.
Personally, Mega Millions is lookin
