ARIMA is an AutoRegressive Integrated Moving Average.
This does not help with lottery draws. For an example, I have looked at using ARIMA in time series analysis on the pick 3... the predictions center around 4.5, you can't play 4.5. It stays the same regardless of the number of epochs used or the training/validation data split, and that was using LSTM (Long Shot Term Memory) from 1 to 3 layers deep.
A Markov model is closer to the reality, as it only depends on the current state to choo

Lottery Game Percentages
You Excel Gurus out there. And there are a number here on LP.
This is the Excel file for creating any chart for any game 5xx and 6xx with a maximum of 99 lottery numbers.
For example 5/99 or 6/99 if there any such games.
The opening post should have a Youtube link on how to create a chart for your lottery games.

Thank you, Diamond Dan502!!
I've been a member for quite awhile but have never posted before this. I don't bet often either. However, I've noticed how well you've done with your picks since you started posting. I've beaten myself up for not playing your recommendations.
Today I read your picks about forty minutes before the midday drawing. I bet $2 on a straight/box of 502. I was elated when the 025 came up! Since I never won Pick 3 before, I assumed it was a $40 win. I got an email fr

Virginia woman wins $150,000 Powerball lottery prize using ChatGPT, donates entire prize
Yet here was his original responses maligning faith and a belief in God. Lol
And yes, I am not home schooled and I have multiple degrees.
Why are people like him always so angry and unhappy? I really feel so sorry for him. Someone clearly hurt him as a child.
To all the religious loons downvoting my post above just confirms the general consensus that atheism is better for humanity.
There's no indication that's the case here. If he's giving something just so he could get it back

Virginia Mega Millions $348 million lottery winner plans to buy lawnmower with record prize
they had or have a game where the prize stipulates taxes paid and you actually get the advertised amount.
I remember seeing something about a game that did that, but it was a long time ago. If such a game exists now I haven't seen anything about it. I wish I'd checked (or remembered if I did check) to see if it really was a set amount after taxes, because the taxes could vary quite a bit depending on a winner's taxable income. Even if the prize was only 10k, that would add $3700 in federal

DC Lottery offers compensation for players affected by computerized draw error
I've always defended the lottery when people post this draw history is bad by pointing out that randomly drawn numbers can generate patterns that may look funny in retrospect, but if they are random and unpredictable, then there's nothing wrong with it. Not any more!
I will never defend the lottery as long as they use an RNG to choose winning numbers. Probability theory applies to random number drawings that do not contain errors. I had no idea that these RNG systems had bugs in it so many t

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
Hi Sum Buddy! Nice to see you posting. It's been a while since I've read a post from you!
I'd going to ask you a couple of questions....
Did you buy your raffle tickets because you felt that you really could or just might actually win one of the top prizes?
Did you buy your tickets because there will be multiple top prize winners on July 2nd?
Or did you buy your tickets for both of the above reasons?
If so, then you're just like almost every other member of The Lottery Pla

Money and the Crime of Kidnaping
I realize that you haven't actually threatened to go check it out
That's correct. I wrote my over the top 'gallows humor' post completely tongue in cheek. But someone could rightly challenge me by saying And Just how do I know that? My answer would be Well, you don't. But it's true. That'd be the best response I could give. A fair amount of time has passed since when Artist77 scolded me by asking if anybody else was creeped out by what I wrote, and nobody answered her (probably rhetorical)
