What are your thoughts on the TLC show "The Lottery Changed my Life"?
I am what some would call a minority of a group that voted in a majority way for the man who cannot cut spending. I used to root for other minorities to win whenever I realized it was not me holding the winning ticket. However, now I a hope whoever wins is someone or some pool that did not vote for the man in WH until 2016. And for the record, I never voted for him because I heard what he was saying and did not like what I was hearing. It wouldn't surprise me if he proposes a special you didn't

29 co-workers share $1 million Powerball prize
the kentuckyites should challenge the utahites to a tug of war so one side or the other could get to split 2 million. vehemently against pools with this many people because those 2nd place prizes (1m) isn't enough to split that many ways. turns into a sustinence cash for all of them, rather than a life changing hit which is what the lottery is intended to be. buy your own tickets. good thing this was a congenial group in ky agreeing to include the non-payers that drawing, otherwise they would ha

Ornery dog leads to $1M lottery win
who pays for the gas for the 1 1/2 hour (one way or two) trip to idaho to buy but one combination every so often. it would cost more than the tickets by far for the gas they guzzle to keep this inane lottery pool going. i don't know savage, i don't think they bought it 33 times. i don't even they know what they are doing but it worked for 20k apiece so it must have been only one ticket, which once again reading this story they seemingly all chipped in on 2.00 divided by 33 is about .06 a piece p

Ornery dog leads to $1M lottery win
my thoughts exactly ridge . let's dismiss the dog angle which had no bearing on this. it seems incredulous that 33 people would chip in for one paltry combination. i mean sure they could all risk 2.00 and someone makes that long drive to buy it for the next 33 draws(which i'm not sure you could actually do) and then 4 monthes later go around and collect a lousy deuce from everyone and do it again. it worked and they're happy with their payday but......it seems an odd way to conduct a pool....if

Ornery dog leads to $1M lottery win
The pool grew to 33 people, but the philosophy of using the same numbers never changed.
If they won using numbers they picked, how does the fact that the dog locked the guy out of the truck make any difference? I mean if they won with Quick Picks then I'd understand because going to a different place to buy the ticket and buying the ticket at a different time may have resulted in different numbers but like the article said they played numbers they picked themselves so it wouldn't have matte

The Powerplay Option
Hi jimmy,
i'm new to the forum and am actually looking for a wheel that allows for the difference in the number pools,
that is KS Cash has two pools, the set of five numbers is drawn from a pool of 32 numbers, the Cash Ball is
drawn from a pool of 25 numbers, however the Dimitrov system of 11 numbers (which produces five games)
does not take in consideration the two different pools...
Jimmy as to your mention of he powerplay, it does make sense to spend the extra dollar becau

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Tell ya what, Stack. Despite the fact that you've chosen to be Ronnie's waterboy, I still think you're a relatively smart guy. One of the best on LP, even. If you're actually serious about pursuing research into how to narrow down the Powerball or Mega Millions matrix into a pool of 28 numbers that have a decent chance of containing the 5 winning numbers, why don't you break off and start your own thread rather than continuing to associate yourself with this mess? Leave the serious discussion to

Do some number combinations have better odds?
I'm going to reply to a couple of the things you said here... and then hopefully I'll just be done. I can't believe the stuff you said in this post.
Please explain since you know there will be standard deviation, why it's not possible to use it to get better results.
Because you do not USE standard deviation, it simply occurs. By nature, you don't have control of it.
Because Ronnie's claims are always based on his conditions. Most of your arguments are based on ar
