I wouldn't even bat an eye. In my mind it doesn't matter where the winning numbers are purchased, only that they are played. As far as those who would say, That's it! I'm done, we all know they would just say that and not follow through. It would be the same people who play $100 in a record jackpot and then when they lose, swear up and down that they will never play again. I know what you mean, it's a very fickle game so we need to keep it simple and be consistent with our analysis and selection methods. In my opinion 30 games is far enough back to start and if you keep the chart up to date you will have months before you know it. Prior to this drawing, here were some of the records 816 was holding. All numbers considered in this post are exact order numbers. Least frequent Virginia 3-ball winner. Today was only the 4th time in VA 3-ball history that 816 has won in exact order. 816 still holds this record, as all other 3-ball combinations have five or more wins. I don't see the point in claiming this late. If it is a capped Jackpot it still means it is one of the highest they ever had, it will still make the news, his name is still public record. I get waiting a month or two in which I would hammer out a plan with my advisors anyway, but give away 10 months of interest? Hell now. I also wouldn't want to wait 10 months + check cashing until my vacation around the world.
