I agree with you about the 10 million. Because of PB's and MM's ridiculously high odds to win the ridiculously high jackpots, I don't even play those games. I know I won't win one of those huge jackpots ... and don't need or want that much. It is obvious, however, that there are a heck-of-a-lot people that think they need that much ... enough people playing those games to finance their huge jackpots!!!

Out of country taxing on lottery winnings on Americans..
I think the currrent tax code sucks * ^%*( when it comes to winning lotteries or casino slot machine jackpots out of the USA.. So if i go to Canada and win either lotto or slot Jackpots i have to pay Obama taxes on winnings and i think that is a bunch of )(** ^^%R % if you asked me...As you know fellow Canucks that come down to WA state and play in our native american casinos and hit the jackpot never have to pay taxes.. Yeah. If jackpots keep getting winners in the first 5 or 6 draws, it may prove to be less than profitable for the bottom line. The lotteries are going to have to cover the jackpots out of profits. But we'll see. A few giant jackpots might make up for it in their minds.

What the State Lottery Can do with People who dont Claim Jackpots...
put the unclaimed Jackpots all into a Fund place it in the stock market let the interests create sweepstakes or games like: Family Feud or Jeaopardy or even games like: The Biggest Loser....or the Home Makeover show....if they have them in the USA, try around the world.... you know the world is biggggggggggggggggggg do you....do youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu????....

On another thread I read, This is #38. (jackpot winner) Indiana had the most Powerball wins even with #37. lol Which is it, does NY win all the jackpots, do they split all the jackpots with Indiana, and why are those people from other states holding gigantic checks saying they won jackpots too?

Call me crazy but I dont think the jackpots are getting destroyed. The Florida lottery time releases jackpots and they know exactly which roll they are on. Someone in the lotterys security department knows im sure. On the other hand games like $250K Club , Cool $100K and Casino Action do raise eyebrows. Why were the first 2 ended with half the jackpots remaing ? Why has Casino Action not produced a jackpot in over 2 years ?

The game is drawn three times a week and for the last two years has only paid 11 jackpots each year. Both years of the 11 jackpots paid out, 7 went to quick picks and 4 to player's picks. ridge runner, I would do away with lotteries the way they are set up now, absolutely. I would also not sanction casinos on indian reservations. California had a decent lottery set up initially, which entailed a 6/49 winning combination. According to lottery officials, people complained about low jackpot amounts, or multiple winners splitting said jackpots. well said...I would had like to mention a blog i got on a particular website which will open people s mind but i cant... but i just remember something...if you read one of my previous post here i said that: LP can win Powerball jackpots in fact it can win: 87 Powerball jackpots per year...And like 150 Pick5 jackpots in 1 year....IF it wanted to...i sometimes got to remember all these stuff...
