Does it make you angry??
Greed is a two sided coin.
That same greed is what fuels ambition, innovation, progress, advances in medicine and technology.
It's not a perfect world we live in, never will be.
When the ambitious, innovative or greedy person is given lemons.....they will make lemonade.

The Future of Online Lottery Sales?
Yep. kinda the same thing but different here. I graduated from standing in line to try and get all my playslips entered...from multiple stores at that. The current method of playing lottery numbers is seriously ANTIQUATED with the advent of current technology. People should be able to comfortably play their numbers from home via an efficient method offered by the state lotteries. Hell, they make enough money to implement it! CONVENIENCE is now, and, forever will be the trend with everything incl

Where can I download drawings?
If I answer on that one, RDGR will be channeling Adolf Hitler again, adding some US propaganda on the top!
When a site sucks, it sucks! I don't think that they miss cash to creat a decent website with new technology.
Hey, I want a Belgian flag as smiley gimmick!

What kind of car would you get?
Honestly, I wouldn't get a new car right away. I'm perfectly happy with the one I've got, and it's still in great condition. Down the road, though... I haven't really thought about it. If electric car technology has come far enough by the time I'm ready for a new ride, I might invest in one of those, or possibly a hybrid. Maybe one of those Smart cars. However, when you've got lottery money , you have the luxury to think about, well, luxury automobiles, so that would end up in the thought proces

Do some number combinations have better odds?
I have an account with a legal horse racing book and all the bets must be made manually. If an online state lottery used a similar program, a player could make their bet after filling out each playslip so that would eliminate handing them to a clerk to print. If the lotteries allowed any amount of bets, they could use a program similar to the full wheels on LP. A player could deposit enough money to cover the bet, choose the wheel, enter the numbers, and submit the bet.
The horse racing progr

Arkansas woman loses bid for $1M lottery ticket picked from trash
150% correct!
Finders keepers, losers weepers is what I say to this!!!
And about the scanner? The person who THREW AWAY the ticket scanned it..Maybe there was a crease in the bar code and the scanner misread it..It has happened to me on a winning($3) ticket when the scanner said 'Sorry, not a winner' even tho I had manually CHECKED the numbers and knew it was a winner..Technology is not infaalible!

States up the online ante
The Seven Elevens and the Patels of the convenience store world have to realize the transition to digital technology that has taken place over the years. They want to challenge a state's right to sell online? I'm sure a majority of lottery fans welcome the opportunity to purchase lottery tickets online.
More and more people have switched to the internet to read their bank statements and pay their bills. Also may I mention the continuous transitions to direct deposit. Maybe the US Postal Servi

why do YOU play the lottery??!?!?!
Ahh, that one had a few technical difficulties with the oyster crackers not sticking very well to the outside of the frozen chili-pop.
I think it was just ahead of it's time too.
People are slow to accept cutting-edge technology sometimes.

How is MM so fast in determining if someone won?
Each state has a data base showing every combination sold; similar to LP's data base showing past results. We can access the LP data base by using search results just like the state's sold combo data base can be accessed by using another command prompt. All the winning combos are sorted into individual prize categories and the reports are sent to MM headquarters. The one hour before publishing the results is what MM determined and not the actual time it takes to access the data bases, sort the r

Florida Lottery education spending investigated
I could not have said it better myself.
Bring the technology into the classrooms and teach the children the skills needed to enter into the workforce.
Help lower the unemployment rate by teaching the kids marketable skills while in school. Start job training in the 7th and 8th grade so when graduation roll around these kids will have some experience under their belts.
