75 % payout question
The key difference here is the expected return for the entire game versus expected return of a random pack. Here in CA, the high level games appear to return around 66% overall to the players but based on the winning tickets that you are likely to actually see, the return is around 40%. The top tier for many games here have between 10-20% of the prize pool, but only like .00008% of the tickets. How hard can it be?
DON'T GIVE UP!!! It's kind of nice that where I work there are 3 co-workers who love the games and feel the same about persistence. We're not doing a pool at the moment but I imagine we will again one of these days. There is no retirement plan through my job so YES - I will keep playing my games.

Ok, I know a lot of people on here are saying only 3of5..what happened to the 5of5...well the formula did generate the 5of5 that I said it would. Back with a vengeance
QM, Thanks for your reply! My understanding about thepool of set formulas means:Simple +/-; Tic-Tac; Tic-Tic; Tac-Tac and Toe. Are they correct? If so, how can I know which pool of set formulas to play? Could you give me the further instructions about that according to your typical example above? Thanks.

my pet peave is ?
Another pet peeve of mine, is when people who work for McDonald's pretend they've won the Mega Millions lottery, stiff their lottery pool, waste everyone's time with meaningless press conferences and wear pink hats that insult our swine.
