Sum 21 Midday
7 days now a sum 21 combo hasn't shown on the day draws. Searching the past 90 days the record is 6 days. Could be more if I went further in the past but 90 days is good.
The 489 and 399 combos were last seen on Christmas day.

California SuperLotto Plus will longer have drawing videos posted
Yeah, like I'm gonna drive 6 hours (12 round trip) all the way to Sacramento to watch the draws in person.
Tell you what calottery, instead of me coming there, why don't you put a camera where someone would be standing and observing the draws in the room, and record that and send it to me. Thanks. Anyone could do it with a smartphone even.
In fact, better yet, why not create a free Youtube account and upload it there so others can see the video besides just me. Thanks. And do it every day

Winning Jackpot numbers showing up again and again...
You know that a 6/49 game has different odds than a 5/39 game, right?
For a game with 575,000 combinations you should expect some repeat combinations to start showing up after there have been a couple of thousand drawings. For games with a 13 million combinations that has already had 13,000 drawings there's still only a 1 in 1000 chance of a repeat on the next drawing; and only a 10% chance that it will happen within a year (assuming 2 drawings per week). For the record, no 6/49 game has come

Wondering if I should go back to buying scratchers?
For the record... I scratch from time to time too. I typically buy a couple of them if I'm behind someone in line that does. I'll buy a couple of the same ones that they bought. I figure that they'll go to the car, scratch and lose. Sometimes the tickets that I bought are winners (fee tic or a couple of dollars), but nothing to really jump up and down about. Just like dropping a couple dollars on that machine on the way out of the casino. Sure would be nice to tell that story while the bells and

Lottery FREEZING or Lottery WARMING?
It's not safe to make fun of Al Gore's Global Warming Hoax.
That's why I'm not even going to mention my frozen pipes from last night in the record coldest weather to ever hit Tennessee since the beginning of time immemorial.
Cuz Al has massage girls at every 5 Star Hotel in every major city in the world who will track you down wherever you go.
Al wants us to start calling it Climate Change now instead of Global Warming cuz there ain't no warmin' goin' on out there and he's makin' millio

Lottery Bible ~ Large Print
I'm waiting for mine to get home early from work and then she and I will bring in the New Year quietly at home. I'm excited about this coming year. I'll be doing a lot of reading, a lot of record keeping and maybe just maybe when the time is right, I'll be posting news of real wins.
Happy New Years all!!
Now back to our regularly scheduled learning...

You know you're more than just a casual lottery player when...
Also a mechanical pencil, some graph paper, and a red pen/marker should also NOT be missing for the more than casual player.
I prefer a project pad with a black, red and green pen. Picking combinations for the next drawing is a project and is treated as such.
I use the black pen to record what happened in past drawings, the red one to mark the parameters I'll use to pick combinations for the next drawing and the green one to mark what happened during that drawing.

Something seems fishy to me!
Yep, they definitely wanted that roll to a billion dollars real bad. But luck was not on their side.
They had luck on their side on the record JP in 2012, when the 2nd to last draw with $191M in sales rolled. But this time, luck was not on their side, and the most probable thing occurred at the $337M sales mark: 2 winners.
It'll most likely hit a billion JP in 2014. They just need to get lucky on 1 of the few big runs.

$586 MILLION: Mega Millions jackpot climbs toward a new record
$550 milion was the original advertsied amount for this drawing. The actual starting point is the finishing point for the last drawing. I never saw a final total over the $425 million that was advertised, but based on sales I expect it was somewhere close to $440.
If they do sell 400 million tickets that will add a bit more than $130 million to the cash value, which means about $242 million for the advertised annuity. That would give us a final total of about $680 million for the annuity valu
