$300,000,000 Jackpots
I'm actually pleasantly suprised with how the Powerball has gone since allowing the other MegaMillion states in. I thought the Jackpots would hit sooner but I didn't expect the jackpots to grow quite as quickly as they have. They get to 100 Million fairly quickly after a win which gets me to want to play. So I have to give it a thumbs up. We still get 100+ million jackpots with more players and with no matrix change and we get to 100 million more quickly.

British couple wins $88M lottery, daughter says 'whatever'
Who's to decide what amount of money someone deserves?? If you don't like large jackpots play lesser state games or scratchers. Their are many different kinds of lottery games to appeal to different kinds of lottery players. Large Progressive jackpots appeal to certain groups of people who like to dream big. The larger jackpots generate more revenue for states, the lottery, for education.....so they should be as large as the Market will Bear....as we are a Free Market society(or were before the

Mega Millions or Powerball will reach Half a Billion.
RJOh said it pretty good. The jackpots will increase faster. That has already been seen so far. The more people in, the quicker a winner. When the jackpots get higher, the more probability for mutiple winners now as well. We'll seldomly see many Jackpots anywhere close to $300 million like we've seen in the past at times. But that can be a good thing too. More money, for more people faster. That would work for me.

Down but happy...
Today i had a terrible, terrible day...But i am happy because i found a system that with:
118,000 tickets it will win: 92 out of the 96 yearly Jackpots of Florida Lotto...GUARANTEED...
found the same system found out that with: 129,000 tickets It will win 60 out of the 96 yearly Jackpots of POWERBALL INCLUDING THE BONUS BALL....NO MATTER WHAT PLAYS....GUARANTEED...
It would had costed me: 5,000 tickets and not: 129,000 had i known math specifically combinatorics but i dont...

Looking forward to National lottery
Hopefully it will have 2 or 3 jackpots. Maybe one designed for 10 rolls and another designed for 20 rolls. Possibly it could have in state only jackpots too. Thus, you could win 1,2, or all 3 jackpots depending on what level you hit at.
Has there been any news about it yet??? Or is all the news concentration on the PB/ Mega deal??

Kentucky Lottery approves adding Mega Millions
I don't see why people would be happy with a national lottery. Look at what happened when larger states started joining Mega Millions and Powerball. The jackpots get hit more often because of more players and the jackpots are consistently low. Well at least their will be shorter drives for people even though sometimes the road trips to buy lottery tickets was half the fun.....me and my buddies or work pals talking about what we were going to do with the dough....... My only other concern is that

When you buy a lottery ticket do you prayer that you win the Jackpot?
The reason we see really big jackpots and extremely steep odds is that the lotteries pay attention to ticket sales. The increased revenues come from steep odds and big jackpots. It's possible that substantial numbers of regular players would prefer lower odds and more winners of smaller jackpots, but overall that isn't what puts the most money in the states' coffers. One drawing with a $100 million jackpot can bring in more than twice as much as a minimum jackpot, and $200 million can bring in 4

Powerball vs. Mega Millions...its a race!
Some players are in a race with the games themselves trying to win while the jackpots are $100M+ while others still wait on the side lines for the jackpots to get even bigger before buying a ticket.
If the games are won this week-end, they will be the ones saying, the games aren't what they use to be, I remember when the jackpots would get big, $200M or more.

Games Making A Comeback
Ohio Classic Lotto(6/49) is similar to the old Ohio SuperLottoPlus game, however the old games had minimum jackpots of $4M that rolled over at least $4M after every drawings. It wasn't profitable after adjacent states got their own games so rather than change the rules the state replaced it with a worse game Lot'O Play(6/100) that cost $2 per line. After a year, that game was replaced with Classic Lotto which had a more realistic minimum jackpot of $1M that rolls over $200-$300K and cost $1 per
