B.C. lottery officials extend deadline to settle fight over jackpot
This story gets more confusing as it develops. It seem that every day of the lottery drawings someone would collect money from the folks who were working that day that wanted to be in the pool to buy lottery tickets for that night's drawing, thus an A W workers pool. The four women who are suing said they contributed faithfully on the days that they worked and thought the pool included them on the days they didn't work and couldn't contribute. The problem is there are other workers who could

B.C. lottery officials extend deadline to settle fight over jackpot
I ran a pool at a old job I had and to avoid this I had a sheet that everyone was playing signed. The sheet let all players know who was in and what numbers we had because some people wanted to pick their own numbers and some wanted to play QP. We played $5.00 on Powerball and $5.00 on Lotto for Wed. and Sat. draw for a total of $20.00. Everyone who was in the pool had a copy of this sheet too. With our pool we would only allow 10 people in it and for the most part we kept the same people playin

Coworkers fight for share of B.C. lottery win
I have a feeling the two women contributed to some of the pools for past drawings and have no proof of contributing to the pool for the last drawing. In another article I read they also thought some of the other co-workers should also be included with the eight women and one man that claimed to have been the only members of the pool that bought the ticket. I think these women thought the pool was run by some of their co workers for the benefits of all the co-workers so they will have to go to

CT Cash 5 - August 2005
When I first started, it was a 14 number challenge...just seemed too time-consuming to come up with the 14 perfect picks. Since it's a 35 number pool, I wanted a multiple of 7 for an easy benchmark over time. Pick 7 numbers, you'll match an average of 1 if everything is random. Match 2 from a pool of 14 numbers, etc. Not that I have anything against a 16 number pool...you'd just have a not-so-round avg match of 2.286.Any reason for the 11 numbers?

hello
That pool arrangement is very bad (as are most pool arrangements). The risk-to-reward equation is way off. What makes lotto-style games good is that the payoff for a small bet is enormous. But when you go into a pool arrangement like you are thinking about, your overall odds really aren't that different, but your reward goes in the toilet.Don't do it! Instead, read up on the many lotto strategies discussed here now and in the past, and use a good system or wheel to play.Plus, the lottery is en
