BOAW 333
Hey A and TJ - Yes, I did have the 3's. Cannot retire but can take all the puppies to the vet tomorrow morning without refinancing the yacht. Thanks for the well wishes - love it with things come together so astrologically perfectly! Hope to send the double/doubles and trips to you now! Jake

You can't buy happiness, but you can buy freedom
I agree with many that I wouldn't want to start a new business, but my mother has always had a dream to open up her own shop and I would give it to her. I just asked her why not just retire from work all together and she said that she wouldn't be in it to make it a multi-million dollar business, but to sell things that she loves and to interact with people. Plus, it would only be a little shop and if needed she can hire a couple of people to work there and come in when she wants.

Powerball lottery jackpot hits $200 million
What makes me angry is that it is idiots like this who have no concept of the true value of money who win. I could retire on $1 million easily, especially in my current area.

How will you deal with your money if you shot at the jackpot
Depends on how much I win. Too many choices. I've never set my goals on winning tens of millions, just enough to be comfortable, get good medical care when needed, and guarantee a steady flow of income for life when I retire. I would try to stay out of the spotlight and live a quiet life with a few good friends and a couple of pets. If I didn't need to work at all, I would try to spend more time volunteering in my community.

If you won the lottery, would you leave dodge or...
If I were able to remain somewhat anonymous, I would stay right here in the city where I live. It seems like a nice place to retire . But there is a beautiful gated community here that I would move to. Of course Id have to build on a vacant land, those existing home are still way too big for me even with the millions I'm going to win.

Student wins lottery, leaves school
This is in China and the article said the per capita income in urban areas is $1900 a year, and less in rural areas? He'd probably regret it if he moved to the US and thought he could live the rest of his life on that, but it appears to be more than enough to be reired in China. Of course there was nothing inth earticle to indicate that he has any plans to retire or skip a colege education.

Lottery programs and never a Pick 5
Yeah, a half-million bucks (or even a million) before taxes, just isn't the life-changing event it used to be. It's nice, and it would, like you say, pay off some bills. But you can't retire on it, and it just makes things a bit easier for the person if they play it right. Therefore, its not much of a story from the media's standpoint.

West Virginia Quad
can anyone tell me how many quads hit this year?? i think it's under 10?? i notice that most states average around 2300 to 2600 draws. i'm gonna cover them for 25 cents each in WV every day. only 2.50$ for a nice payout(hopefully 1 pops before i retire).

Is this a dumb thing to say?
I play lottery from all over the United states because I travel alot by car. I promised myself that If I win the lottery in that state, I'm going to live there, get married there and retire there.
