Post your scratch ticket results
I just remembered and wanted to add here my $30 dollar winning LFL ticket had 5 hits of $5 each that totaled $25 bucks. When I cashed it in the machine said I had won $30, Not $25 that I expected. Ticket got trashed I wish I would of kept it but I was too caught up in the moment I did not think twice.
I have a feeling the ticket was a misprint and now have a guilty feeling of throwing away 15 straight losers because what if some were really winners ???

Poaching for winning tickets
Today while I was in Publix scratching there was a lady playing $3 dollar Bingo. While I was winning and busy with other tickets she was losing and had lost 4 in a row from what I observed. I was thinking about buying the next Bingo but was still scratching my other ticket. She makes it to the machine first and gets the 5th ticket, a $10 winner. What was an overall 1 in 4 game had a 1 in 1.3 or so chance of winning on the next ticket as I figured, due to all the previous losers. I am considering

Instant Machines!
Look at the ticket number. It is on the front and back of the ticket. You can tell if they are in order if you can read numbers and count. I have always found them to be in order, at least here in GA. I have heard of 10 losers in a row. As far as I know, tickets are not printed specifically for machines or clerks. The only difference is that some rolls start on 000, and others start on 029 (in example $5 tickets). The main downside to buying from machines is that you cannot read the ticket numbe

LottoMax winners collect $50M jackpot
I stuck my ticket into this machine and it read $50 million, he said. I rubbed my eyes and the first thing I said is, 'Holy s***.'
Canadians must now have a lottery ticket checking system that by-past the clerks.

What's with NY Sweet Million??
All invalidating a ticket means is this:
You go to the store and buy a ticket, the clerk hands it to you and you decide you dont want it. (Maybe the numbers dont look good to you, or maybe you simply changed your mind.) You give it back to the clerk and walk away, and you dont pay for it.
The clerk has a few options as to what he can do with that ticket. He can try to sell it to someone else, he can buy it himself, or he can invalidate it and throw it out. I dont know how they actually inv

Lucky and unlucky Scratch-off ticket numbers
GREAT JOB with the BWS!! WTG!! I see 2 in a row there....84 85.
One thing I'll try more often since winning on the 7's ticket is this...
if the ticket is a small winner...like $2, I'll try the next one. I'm working on trying to determine if the next one after a face value ticket is good.
So far, I've found on that on the $1 tickets at 10 or 20 at a time, if there is a FREE ticket, the next one is a $ winner...it could be $1, $2, $4 or
$10. I bought 10 of the Solid Gold tickets and nu

What was your biggest single prize?
I won $200 twice on scratch tickets. One was a $5 and the other was a $20 ticket. Both were last year. the $5 ticket I got at a lottery vending machine in a stop and shop supermarket. I just picked any random ticket and I got the $200 winner. On the $20 dollar ticket, I was changing the trash bags at my job and saw 2 of the losing $20 billion dollar bonanza tickets which were consecutive tickets. I knew that there was a 1 in 2.99 odds of winning on those, so I asked the clerk which number was ne

Indiana man says store cost him $11.5M lottery jackpot
I guess this only happens in the USA whereby a customer cansue a store for not selling them a lottery ticket which had the winning numberson, as obviously he picked his own numbers, it would never happen here in theUK, all retailers selling tickets are obligated to sell until the 7:29:59sec pmcut off point for Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays draws, the only time theycan t sell or refuse to sell is when the machine is out of order but therewould be a sign displayed saying this so customers know
