$250 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot ramps up
We had an office pool for the PB drawing on Saturday. It's the first time in over 10 years we have done it. We had 17 of the 27 employees get in on it. I would expect that since the JP went up, so will the participation number.
For those interested, we didn't win anything. Didn't even have 2 number on one line. But with the increased JP is increased hope!

Connecticut lottery winners settle $1 million battle
My coworker and I play the lottery everyday together. We buy our tickets a week at a time, and we have never fought about it. We play two eve 3 digit numbers, two evev4 digit numbers, three eve quinto numbers and two mid treasure hunt, each day. I used to run a pool at work but it would always expode into most everyone going in on it, and I'd put in for a few who didn't have it on them but by the time they paid me back it was already over and they made a comment to the effect of them paying me f

Connecticut lottery winners settle $1 million battle
Here we go again, whenever 2 or more players are involved, it gets messy. He said, she said, someone forgot to pay their weekly share of the lotto pool......blah......blah......blah.
Then BOOM! a ticket hits the big time, then everything's got to be sorted out. Usually by a judge or lottery commission. Makes for good newsfeed fodder however!

Would you join online lottery group?
By all means, join with Mario38 to pool your lottery purchases. I can think of nothing better than to have an angry, vendictive person who lives in a different country handling your lottery ticket purchases for you.
Best of luck to you!

Hoosier Lotto
Until PB reaches $200M I'll be playing $5 per draw on Hoosier Lotto. After PB reaches $200M, I'll buy $3 on Hoosier Lotto and a single PB with Powerplay ticket for $3. I don't play MM that much. Sometimes I'll play $1 or $2 on it if it's below $100M. After that I'll start playing $5. I love when the state Lotto game gets up this high. I realize 1 in 12,271,512 is still a lot of combinations, but it's still way better than PB or MM. Plus, all the numbers are in the same pool so I can apply my sys

My Jackpot games numbers:
I was just going through F.B. and I seen where this Guy that use to be from here had 44 numbers he said if you wheel them all you had the Mega Millon. He did have all the numbers but wouldn't that be a lot to Wheel? Expensive 44 numbers Hell, I pick 36 numbers so I think I did good picking 36 and they all were there. All the ones I had 6 rows here. Acually 4 rows I got 6 digits once right in this thread, I just wonder how much did it cost to wheel all 44 and win the jackpot? How about if everyon

Powerball multi-state lottery to raise prices, jackpots
There are no rules that anyone has to play. All one can do is look at the final product and decide whether it is worth it to play at the new price. The average jackpot goes from $144 million to $255 million. The starting jackpot doubles to $40 million and will grow much faster with nearly double the money going to the jackpot pool. It is easier to match the red powerball number alone (more winners) and the prize is bumped up to $4 (price of two tickets). Second prize goes from $200,000 to $1 mil
