Woman checks old lottery ticket, wins $10 million
An Australian student worried about her parents' money problems rifled through a pile of her lottery tickets... ....The winning ticket cost $8.70 (US$6.70). The odds she beat: 1 in 45 million.. I don't think powerball or Mega Millions would sell so many tickets if they charged their tickets anything more than $1. Frankly speaking people would rather the odds of winning increase than the ticket price increase.

Powerball and Mega Millions in every state
Well it looks like previous news reports are coming true. Pretty soon all lottery states will be offering Mega Millions and Powerball at the same time. But how will these games increase at all will this many potentail players. We will have what 280,000,000 people playing these games. If they don't increase the odds how will the jackpots ever get high again. I mean look at now, we haven't seen a large jackpot in a very long time. Brad

Powerball, Mega Millions explore agreement
i think people are going to guide themselves by the jackpot the higher the more they will play... when MM PB are high, SUperLP will suffer but when all 3 are low it will not...that's how i see it...for super Lotto plus to stay competitive with MM PB, i feel they will have to increase the price of super Lotto plus tickets to 2 dollars...but i also feel people would think? Oh more choices, great...but i bet they will spend 2 dollars per game... i meant to say it will increase the number of w

N.J. Lottery to add Powerball?
most of us play 2 or 3 tickets most of the time anyways so why not raise the ticket to 2 dollars that way the jackpots will get bigger quicker and more people will want to play them...I don't see how this set up is going to work, they will either have to increase the price of each ticket to 2 dollars or they will have to increase the price of the Pick6 to 2 dollars...That's how i see it...i am not a sales ingeneer or whatever you call them that investigates that sort of thing...It was just an id

What do you all think..chipCards that limits how much teens play in the lottery
but i keep forgetting that the State lottery doesn't do what's best for the country, if it wants to see that country florish it does what's best for its pocket...Even though this method will be an extra source of income... i also feel they should increase the amount in speeding tickets...100 dollars on a speeding ticket is not enough, they should increase it to 400 dollars if they really want to prevent more deaths...but like how i said before, America is sadistic.... who knows this game o

And I agree with you as well, increase your odds by being observant, IE missing back, front, front and back pairs, digits that are far out, never drawn #'s etc to increase your odds of winning. There is no gaurantees, but that method has been the most reliable that I have seen. I don't post these things to sound mean or rain on anybodys parade, just to do a reality check and remind everyone that it is truely a random game. Even when you are absolutely certain a # or #'s have to show up (as I am

Thanks Increase, These pair lists used to be pretty successful for me so I went back to it since I cant figure out what Va is up to right now. Evo , i agree with Increase. Just because we dont have matches , it doesnt mean we are right. You seem to get them when we don't. The only way for all of us to come close to each other is to compare with each other and look for a common number and sometimes that doesnt work either. I do know that the TTT lists JMill posts is a good place to start wh

1 Billion Dollar Powerball Jackpot!
Unforunately the powerball rules make this an almost impossibility. Once a new record high is reached the jackpot will only increase by a set amount per each drawing. I am not sure of the exact numbers, butthe new record(for Powerball) is around $390 million and then a set increase of about $20 million each drawing with the breakage being divvied up among the second tier winners. This was done to appease the people that whinge and moan about there only being one big winner of a large jackpot, or
