I really didnt have the extra yesterday, but I can add to the story. I went back over at the end of the day. Someone bought ticket 006 of MCE and hit $20. I run a football pool at work so I borrowed money from there til i got home(didnt want to take out of bank again, but knew I had cash at home). I got ticket 007 and then the next 4 of 20X(011-014). Something is very fishy here, i never heard of a lottery pool or any group getting together and spending $1 dollar on a jackpot.What if Powerball riged the game and had these 3 rich stooges claim the money to put it back into their own pockets, this could have been a planned out scam! carry the logic a bit further. they would know the ramifications of the purchaser who paid the 1.00 for the ticket possibly claiming that he didn't receive the pocket change from the others and wants it for himself. they actually created a pool when the 3 of them pulled up for gas. it would only make sense for them to throw in 1.00 each for 3 tickets so there could by no doubt about ownership. being smart investment guys they would know that. postivie now they are claiming it for someone else. n

If your bookies bet twice as much in the states and get paid very very little and a trip hits, California still will not lose money (impossible to lose money) but the bookies in the Bahamas will lose BIG TIME!! California could care less how many winners there are. It's pari-mutuel so all the payments come out of the pool.

Sweet Million's winning numbers are drawn by computer as opposed to NY Lottery's usual practice of using ball machines, correct? Conspiracy theory: NY Lottery got so tired of having non-winners, even with free ticket promotions most months, that they've set the computer to only draw from the pool of numbers that have been sold, or perhaps to heavily favor those combinations. I guess we'll see tonight if there's anything to this theory...
