Trying To Find Patterns In Randomness
You're walking with your laces tied; a little. By saying from the start, the pattern is random, you're basically starting out by saying there's no sense to the pattern, but you keep looking for it anyways. So right there, you've already tied your shoelaces together, but you keep trying to walk or take big steps anyways. Pattern, same thing happens frequently, but not always. Ex.) Cold numbers pop up twice in the same number; doubles. The pattern can change according to anything or any other

Florida Fantasy-5 Players
This morning when I logged on to my lottery software, there was a message sent to all users of the software by the company that sells it. (Interestingly the company is located in Clearwater) The message talked about the fact that FF5 now has two drawings per day, and if users want, there is a way to filter out the midday drawings, and just use/see data from the evening drawings. The message had instructions in it as to how to filter out the midday draws. So I now have a decision to make and

Florida Fantasy-5 Players
The reason why FF5 jackpots were so good and lower tier prizes were so bad is due to the percentages allocated to prizes of the winners prize pool. FF5's official rules show 62% of the winner's prize pool is used to fund the jackpot. The second place prize is 10% of the winners pool and the third place prize prize is 28% of the winners pool. The prize structure was purposely designed to provide a big jackpot and lousy lower tier prizes. The Florida Lottery are the one's that chose those allo

I haven't taken a look at the New York Lottery's website in a very long time. This morning I decided I'd take a look at it. Specifically I wanted to see the history of Take5 drawing results. I'm glad I took that look.... Typical Take5 jackpots were definitely cut in half, but almost every day the evening drawing jackpot amount was larger than the midday top prize amount. That's IF there even was a jackpot winner for the midday draw, and on many/most dates there was no jackpot winner.

Florida Lottery Fantasy Five going to twice a day--will you still play?
Players play FF5 for no other reason than to win the jackpot. The lower tier prizes are just awful. I matched three numbers last night and won back the ten bucks I spent yesterday. The second tier prize for matching four numbers was a paltry $78. The only way the second tier prize is any good is if there was a rolldown due to no jackpot winner. Say so long a nice life enhancing jackpot win. If you play after March 20th, the bigger jackpot will most likely be for the evening draw, but it

Thoughts going out to the Florida poster and hoping they are well!
It depended upon where you were located in Florida as to whether or not you could buy a ticket the day after Ian hit southwest Florida. I went to buy a ticket the day after the storm (30 miles south of Tampa on The West Coast) but couldn't buy it because the communication lines were down. Other than Fort Myers/Naples area, lottery tickets were pretty much available. I play Florida Fantasy5. The day after the storm a jackpot was won for about $170,000 which is about $20,000 lower than u

What would you do if you won a lottery?
I usually don't play lottery games that offer life changing jackpots. I'm much too practical for that sort of thing. I spend my lottery budget on games with lower odds that typically offer $200,000 jackpots. (Pick5 games) We're in a comfortable financial situation, but if I won a jackpot of that size, it would make us a little more comfortable than we already are. We aren't totally debt free and with our current financial posture being debt free would be very nice. We're retired and have a sm

Well last night's FF5 drawing made me look like a fool with regard to what I wrote above.... ONE winner of $200,249 with a QP bought at a Publix in Winter Park! (Friday nights are big jackpot nights too) There have been 9 single winner jackpots this year, but last night's winner was without a doubt the luckiest winner of them all. No other single jackpot winner in 2022 has won a little more than $200,000. Most of them won in a range of $166,000 to $183,000. As a matter of fact, there have

Reading scratch-off tickets - codes / barcodes
In PA, there are numerical codes only, but it's not clear what they mean, if anything. All scratch offs contain a QR code that can be scanned at digital lottery machines to either check or redeem, scanned via the PA Lottery app, or the small ticket checker at the counters of lottery retailers. These codes can tell whether a ticket is a winner. It is my firm belief that since if the code is damaged, it asks for the game number, the book number, and the ticket number that they essentially know

You are asking legitimate question so I am answering yours. Unlike you know who This is the probability for odd and even mix: 3 odd, 3 even are the best, then follow by 4 odd 2 even and 2 odd 4 even.
