What Is a Pure Number
I've seen that term used in pick3 and pick4 posts to exclude combinations with doubles and triples, but unlike the phrases all odd or all even, it doesn't have a clear universal meaning. I've seen lots of words or phrases used that are defined differently by different people, so you really has to ask the question of the writer that used the word. When Todd proposed a dictionary of lottery words, there were many definitions posted for words that I thought had simple definitions. For example th

something wrong with lottosync v1.6 ?
I don't have a problem with creative effort - I encourage it. I do have a problem when qualifications are bandied around to support Systems. As far as I am concerned you can be studying to be a sex worker or garbage collector (male, female or non-gender, of course) and have as much credibility. (One of the things I like about the Lottery Post is that letters after your name are not paraded.)We all make mistakes and sometimes just have to ditch what we've done because of some fatal error even tho

numbersman you almost had Mega Milionl
Hi RJOH. I just read your response this morning. I understand what you're saying about the mix, but I'd like for you to briefly compare winning combos from, say, April, 2000 and 1998 to those from this month. The first number might be dropped altogether or might perhaps be used, with a change in the second number, but the combos are VERY similar and I've been following their lead for months now. I frequently win 3 out of 5, etc. The mega ball itself still gives me a run for the money though. You

Quick Picks Vs. Number Selection
Quote: Originally posted by wiseone2 on April 29, 2004According to Powerball.com website in the new/info. section faq.....70% of winning tickets are quick/easy picks, including the jackpot. They also state that 70% of all Powerball ticket sales are quick picks. That just proves 70% of lottery tickets are bought by gamblers who don't want to bother with filling out tickets to play. I've seen people buy $20 worth of scratch off tickets and ask the clerk to check if any of them are winners withou

After 2 years... I've lost past 3 weeks
Quote: Originally posted by RJOh on April 27, 2004Look at it this way Peter,You have been entertaining yourself for the last 3 weeks playing the lottery and it cost you $48. Had you spent it on a movie and dinner you wouldn't expect to get your money back even if the movie was lousy and the meal was bad. If you can't afford that type of entertainment, don't play for real. If you had just played on paper, you could have lost and kept your money too like having your cake and eating it too. Goo

something wrong with lottosync v1.6 ?
Quote: Originally posted by BobP on April 26, 2004RHOh: Just for fun do you think it would help or hurt to have let's say six hats each containing the numbers normally drawn within the six positional ranges. Draw two numbers from each hat discarding any repeats, then wheel (normally or positionally). Better strategy then all in one hat or worse? BobPI agree Bob,I think the six hat solution is a better one and you have a good strategy for picking the numbers. Just add a wheel or two and you wi

Crunch question
Quote: Originally posted by RJOh on April 25, 2004If you are considering Buckeye5, a 5/37 game which has had 2576 drawings since 04/06/93, there have been 331 drawings that included the number 13 and only 13 of those had 13 as the lowest number. If you are only considering combinations starting with 13 then you are only talking about 10,626 combinations in total including the 13 that have already occurred rather than all the 376,992 combinations that contain the number 13.RJOhI'm talking about

Pwerball is the same in all states?
The game is the same, but each state have their own cards design. I was just getting ready to fill out some cards in case I go to Indiana tomorrow when I noticed the cards looked a little different than the last time I played, each number was moved left one space. On a closer look, I notice the cards were from West Virgina, I must have pick up a few when I was visiting in that state. If you play when you travel and you like to pick your own numbers, make sure you are using the cards of the st

Lotto Architect v2.2
Apagogeas,I was surprised at those results also because I was looking for a way to pick a few numbers to wheel and willing to accept losing if there was a good chance of a match5 in the near future. I was figuring that any strategy that would work in the future, had probably worked in the past.According to your figures, if I pick 20 numbers the group is more likely to have 3 numbers(35.6%) than 2 numbers (29.6%) than 1 number (10.9%). I would have thought it would be just the opposite. I know
