Florida Fantasy-5 Players
Last Night: 1 8 14 15 35
Only one number from the last 4 draws - #15 which repeated. There's #35 too, first hit in 2022 for it.
Total Jackpot amount is $214,454 - but it was a Saturday drawing so I'd expect to see that. I started checking the daily jackpot amounts because I saw a jackpot during the week that was a little over $200,00 which seemed high to me for a weekday. Snowbirds might have started flocking into Florida these days so that could be the reason why jackpots are getting big.

Lottery Games with crappy top prizes?
Florida says its a rollover game that goes up each time there is no winner. From the Florida Lottery page on how to play.....
Get three sets of numbers to play for $1 Add Combo for $1 to combine matches and win more! JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY jackpots start at $250,000 and can roll over to up to $2 million if there isn't a jackpot winner. Once the jackpot reaches $2 million, and there is no jackpot winner, the excess money in the jackpot prize pool rolls down and increases the payouts on all of

Number of Combo's with Same Last Digit for 5/36 Matrix
That's the thing... most players are casual players, they either don't care about playing smartly, or aren't even aware that some people are playing smartly.
You can see it with Quick Picks. Many times people have told me I only buy QP's because QP's win the most jackpots.
That's true I tell them. It's a function of the fact that 75% of all lottery tickets sold are QP's. The pool of QP's is three times larger than the pool of player picks. Which pool do you think has the best chance of

This Post Could Get Me in a LOT of Hotwater!
It aint that I don't believe ya Sheriff, but Hell, I just buy self-picks cuz ya cant control what numbers that God awful terminal will give ya.
I leave the QP buyin' to the wife. Ya see, now that I know a lotta women win jackpots buyin' QP's in a supermarket, well, I got both bases covered.... G5
PS Ya shoulda seen how wide eyed she got when I explained to her that a ton of women are winnin' jackpots left and right in supermarkets. When we hit that Publix yesterday, we were'nt in it for 10

RNG controlled
Is there away to prove that the winning numbers being produced by the RNG computers are not being influenced in any way by the computers that are giving out the purchased ticket numbers? Other words are they totally independent????
Higher Jackpots means more tickets being sold. Bigger profits!!!!!
High jackpots were very rare when ball machines were in use.
Just thinking out loud.
Are we being controlled and being led down a blind road?

Has anyone won with quick picks?
70% of jackpots go to Quick Picks and Quick Picks are 70% of ticket sales..........notice anything?
Yea.., I noticed that, there's the remaining 30% of Jackots that are by deduction, won by players that put a little thought into their process of picking their own numbers ...
That percentage is smaller of course , because the majority of people, want the Jackpots, but don't want to put any thought process into winning it, other than just thinking .. I wanna play the Lottery, cause th

Lottery strategy: fact or fiction?
Ok rcbbuckeye,..
I certainly am not in the position to doubt that data at the moment.. but it seems to fit the fact that since most people don't decide to play until the jackpots get extremely high.. it would only appear logical, also that since most people choose QPs, that around 70% would display such data... that leave us 30% ers that win the jackpots the rest of the time..
for, it's not that we DON'T win...it's just that we win seemingly least often , bcause we are fewer in numbers..!!

Is Powerball just going to rot away?
Clearly I did not understand your post or your point!
Reading over your post it is easy to miss whether you are talking about total sales or sales for the previous jackpot.
The fact that the advertised JP's were out of line with the actual JPs was not missed.
At any rate the PB and MM are rotten awful games in their current forms and they are behaving more like quarterly raffles.
Go to the Todd-O-Graphs of the Jackpots since the odds have changed and you will see when the

$750 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot surges to 4th-largest ever
I stumbled across an article listing the # of PB winners from the various states and found this:
Statistically speaking, every ticket has the same chance of winning - 292,201,338 to 1 - no matter where it s sold.
Ranking the luckiest states for Powerball is a bit complicated. The game made its debut in 1992 in 15 states. At the time, the odds were 55 million to 1 and the jackpots started at $2 million. The initial 15 states included: Delaware, Iowa, Idaho, Hoosier (Indiana), Kansas, Ken

us powerball
Wikipedia has a page on lottery jackpot records that lists all US jackpots of $300 million or more. There are 42, and the current MM will be adding a 43rd in the near future. Lots of winners tend to result from lots of tickets, so that would have been a good place to start. It doesn't list the 2001 PB drawing, but MM also had 4 winners on 8/31/07.
there's never been 1 with a high number of winners, ie like say a few hundred
You know what the odds are, right? Unless there's something sig
