Canada couple loses out on $1.64M jackpot
I had missed that line where they stopped going, and so before reading this I was feeling bad for them. But, since it doesn't look like it was that they simply missed putting in their money for one draw (which I assumed), I don't really feel sorry for them not getting a share of the winnings. Seriously, if you leave a pool/club and then expect to be brought back in for that one draw that won, you need to get a slapping to bring you back to reality.

Changes coming to Powerball multi-state lottery game in January
It's called sarcasm, to address your first sentence. On the second part, you did not have a problem in the past discussing it. Remember when you posted under the name Lionel ? Or Jake649 ? Under those names you discussed your pools all the time. These days running an online pool probably would get more scrutiny, so maybe that's why you want to keep it under the radar.

Changes coming to Powerball multi-state lottery game in January
Um...er....OK, I guess. That's why people are scrambling over the border to play 6/49 and Lotto Max, right? Which games does your online pool site play?

Changes coming to Powerball multi-state lottery game in January
I almost always play the powerplay but I usually only play 1 or 2 lines, so this isn't going to make much difference to me. I'll just play the 2 bucks it will cost and hope if I don't win the jackpot, I'll win the million dollars. Where this will matter to me is the pool at work. Everyone chips in a dollar for each draw, so we'll probably only play 5 lines instead of 10 when we play PB. But we only play PB when the jackpot is higher than MM.

Chance Nets You A Lottery Jackpot When You Play At A Randomly Chosen Store?
I get most of my tickets from 2 local convenience stores. Almost all of the tickets for my work lottery pool come from a Circle K around the corner from work. I also occasionally buy from a couple of supermarkets. I don't go out of my way, I just buy where it's convenient at that time.

Need a Keno section specific to state.
I play Keno in GA and I find when I go on cold spells sometimes when you find someone willing to talk the info helps. However I read posts from other Keno states the numbers are totally unrelated and just don't work where I am located. I used to play cash 3 and 4 religiously and now pretty much pool most of my assets into Keno, Fantasy 5 and 1 Cash 4 ticket.

$200M Powerball lottery jackpot won by N.Y. Costco workers
The problem with mario's plan is that he has somehow lost the pool members' money he was saving up on two occasions. He never bought the tickets. Now he pretends that he isn't running it. But he is. I'm sure he just misplaced the money and will return it all someday. Yeah, right.

$200M Powerball lottery jackpot won by N.Y. Costco workers
get real... don't you think for a minute that all the lottery winner returning to his job co-workers are not going to resent this slob for returning to work acting high and mighty and waving his good fortune in their faces? there will be some who want to poison his lunch and the rest who suck up to him just want a handout...he doesn't belong there anymore with the hourly wage earners. will he have to buy lunch everyday for everyone or be called a cheap you know what? why did he get into the pool

$200M Powerball lottery jackpot won by N.Y. Costco workers
Tony I feel your pain and share part of your sentiment....New York AGAIN!!! I am glad it was a large pool that won it though because instead of it being some huge amount of money for one person, it is a fairly pedestrian $2.5million after taxes...heck I would be richer than several of them combined if I just won my little state lottery right about now come this Saturday. But I am not hatin' on the winners...just a bit vexed that it seems Cali, Indie, and NY have been hogging Mega and Powerball j
